So we ran in to this recently. I would suggest changing the address a week before you move. some USCIS mail went to the old address, luckily the new residents contacted us. If your moving from a house, leave a letter with your phone number asking to contact you if they get mail.Also go to the post office and forward your mail to your new address. It takes EAD about 5-7 days to get after it has been ordered for production.

Our k-1 finally got approved and is in hand now
I would like to thank everybody. This journey wouldn't be possible without your helps. I hope everyone gets to their loved ones soon.
How ever, te journey never dissapears. It just changes from one form to the other.

I agree, it could always be worse. Doesn't change the fact that this is still upsetting and worrisome Well.... I hope it's fixed ASAP. This process sucks enough as it is without this on top of it! I'm happy to have VJ here to discuss everything with <3

I just checked the status of our case! It's approved. We are super happy! It's been Almost 7 months since we got NOA1 from TSC.

Your boyfrind is a UK citizen. I am Iranian and I went to states to see my girlfrind with tourist visa and I had no trouble entering to USA in airport. I also had my ring in my suitcase and nothing happened eventhough I am Iranian. And since your boyfriend is British, I can gaurantee you everything would be fine. Have fun

Neither it is when uscis approves the case, so you got a noa1 when you first sent everything in now your waiting on them to hopefully approve your case when they do you will get the noa2 then shortly after that they send it to the nvc .

It depends...I was at the California center...do literally every document and approval I needed it took about a month. My packet 3 though I had to keep bugging haiti for and that took a little over 2 weeks. So my whole process was about 3months. We waited about 3 weeks to do our interview
