Yes the process is very flawed. The fact that a petition can be approved in less than 2 weeks shows how quickly the process can be completed. Now if the NVC part could be handled during the petition process or at least at the same office, it would be even faster. I can think of no good reason to keep married people and fiances apart for over a year. Not when it is clear from VJ that it only needs to take around 3 months.

Why don't you just tell me what to say? If someone assumes that giving human rights to gay people is PC nonsense then that IS ignorance. If you have a problem with gay people perhaps this is not the site for you. Things have changed in US immigration, whether you like it or not. The flow of gay people on this site is only going to increase. It's sad that you are unable to moderate these topics properly.

Unfortunately, this is the backside of people overstaying their visas and VWP. If people followed the rules and understood that their actions have consequences for other people, a wife would be able to get a tourist visa to attend her husband's funeral.
OP, I am so sorry for your loss. If you still want to move to the US, you can continue your pending I-130 as a widower. I.e it does not cancel or withdraw because your husband passed away. See below link:

I would be inclined to agree with this. Anything that is easy to find online can be checked. Facebook, LinkedIn and so on. If most Human Resources professionals in the US are snooping around online before they hire candidates, you can bet your bottom dollar that some USCIS agents are too. They are probably looking for things that contradict what is in your petition - for example if you appear to be dating someone else besides the petitioner.

With Blizzak or Michelin X-ice tyres you can drive a RWD in the snow. I've done plently driving in a BMW M3 in the snow. The new cars have lots of traction systems built in, even if they are RWD.

Don't worry too much about a chest X-ray. A single chest x-ray exposes the patient to about 0.1 mSv, which is about the radiation dose people are exposed to naturally over the course of about 10 days. Abdominal x-rays have much higher doses.
If there are a few months between the x-rays, it shouldn't be a big risk factor. A 10 hour plane flight gives you about 0.3mSv in comparison.
