    Long as they are legal to enter the US and do not over stay their allotted time allowed, they should be fine.

    He came there with a tourist visa right? So if he gets married there or anything u are abusing u.s laws and u don't want to ride that horse. So I suggest u to respect the visa. And start filing both for k1 visa ASAP since he is there. We were in the same situation and we chose k1. They don't care if u didn't plan marriage or not cuz nobody is that stupid to admit 'yes we planned it' u know what I mean? Also K1 takes 2-3 months. We got approved for 40 days and now waiting for the embassy process. Better sacrifice a couple of months and be together than doing things now out of rush and illegally.

    Send all the proofs and also make an essay saying how did u two meet in what circumstances, dates and every detail possible u can mention. It's very important to them to know who u two have met. Also send the boarding passes tickets everything available that proves that u two have met. Text back if u have anything else. Also mention what u have sent in the package cuz seems that u may have lack of documents and so u can send them in this wave of sending the RFE.

    To be honest this is just about papers to show embassy good stability (I'm in the same position). They won't be bothered by being asked by embassy or anything. This just to pass the test with the embassy. Take a look at the affidavit form and prepare for what they will be asked. It's an uncomfortable situation but we all have gone thru it. Good luck

    Good luck with ur petition being processed in California and yes u need a joint sponsor since u have to show taxes for the last 2 years and stubs. Don't forget to fill an affidavit also from the peritioner no matter if started working lately.

    Is it ok for a K1 holder to fly in Florida from NY after the entrance in US.
    We are planing to get married and take a short trip to Florida.
