  1. APPROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ESCAPED THE BLACK HOLE!

Wow I could not believe it! Only off my prediction by 7 days!

Celebration now in Tennessee. Linh leaves in 60 hours to go back to Vietnam. Perfect timing! We are blessed

    Good Luck to All

I just can't believe it Kyle!! congratulations!! I can remember how we were talking about how we crunched our numbers a couple months ago... and I'm gladly surprised that you almost hit your prediction!! I had predicted mine for late August but as yours came in almost one week late, I'd be really happy to receive the good news within the first weeks of September.

Thank you very much for keeping us posted and big hugs for you and Linh. :joy:

  2. It seems you are one of the unlucky Texas filers!! yes, it is completely normal since Texas Service Center has a huge backlog, right now it seems they are working on November, December and January cases, even some random February are showing up... That being said, prepare yourself for waiting at least a couple more months!!!

  3. I track them too and I agree provided the rate does not slow down in TSC processing (which it hasn't). My rate is about 161 VJ applications per month.

I am so glad I'm not the only number freak out there! :D

My NOA1 date is March 11 so we are very close and yes I also think I'll get my NOA2 after the first couple weeks of August. Let's see if we get it right!!

  4. To my TSC March 2015 filers, have you guys seen the processing times on the USCIS site? I was pretty encouraged by it. I know when I was looking at it (as early as November 2014!) TSC was behind on EVERYTHING - or just about everything anyways - and CSC was caught up on everything too.

YES, things are definitely moving at TSC FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!! check out Igor's List: http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/monthly_filers.php?form=1&visa=1&scenter=3&option=3&sortby=2there were 15 approvals yesterday and and about 7 approvals per day for the last few days.

Yes it does seem like there is progress. They have started on December cases now and I read that there arent many cases sent in that month too so won't be long until work is started on the 2015 cases hopefully!

Well as you can notice I keep track of progress on Igor's list religiously :D so according to my analysis biggest months were September and October with more than 200 applications. On the other hand, numbers decrease after November to 160 in average. (which could be good news for us... I hope) Of course I understand Igor's list only represents a small part of the entire amount of applications but it makes a good sample or at least helps me keep my sanity making me feel I can keep track on things :bonk:

  5. Banana???!! probably it tastes more like you had diluted a pineapple lollipop in a can of Mountain Dew :D

Now... about the caffeine, I am not sure whether or not IK has it, I can assure you that after drinking 13 bottles of a sugary soda no doubt you will get sugar hyped!! that happens to my fiancé... He loves Colombian Coca - Cola (sweetened with sugar instead of corn syrup) last time he visited he had 2 bottles within an hour and after a couple minutes he was climbing the walls, it was funny at first but after a while I just wanted to punch him in the face. Yes [i am an irresponsible, double-standard-applying husband TO BE-abuser] too.

  6. Sorry that Colombia is umlaut-deficient. Try Pinguino when you can, and get some Blue Bell here when it's back on the shelves.

Yes, actually we do not really use umlauts anymore... at least not in Colombia, they don't even teach that in schools anymore... language transforms... About the Blue Bell sure will try it when the time comes!! I just googled it :D

    Inca cola...

Not a big fan of sodas, so not a big fan of Peruvian Inca Cola... way too much sugar in it! :dead:

  7. Do you have Pinguino helado in Colombia?

No Man!! we don't!! I haven't had the chance to try it... yet... thank you for the Inception :D

Pingüino ice cream sure is tasty, but it's no Häagen Dazs.
They each have the same number of umlauts, si man.

I didn't know you could measure the quality of helado by the amount of umlauts on its name!!!! then... we are doomed in Colombia since our most famous brand of helado is Cremhelado

    :jest:

  8. In honor of the 2-year anniversary of the foregoing, here is a fairly recent selfie of the subject

    She is so pretty! Congratulations!

I took the time to read this entire thread and loved it!! I'm the wife to be and will hopefully be in Texas soon!! I'd certainly love to see you 3 Bones one day even if it's just to wave from the distance...

I'm definitely showing this thread to my husband to be so he can have an idea of how things are going to be once I move in!! It could even be his chance to step back on time :jest:

    Hugs from Colombia!!

  9. any idea of the case statuses at this point?

    Well, check this out: http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/monthly_filers.php?form=1&visa=1&scenter=3&option=2&sortby=2

There you can see the last approvals and their NOAs. Apparently dudes at TSC are "working" on mostly September and October cases even some random November and December  crazy right?

We all know they are a mess so you might get approved even earlier than some September, October and November people...

BTW... you should also complete your timeline so it helps VJers keep track of other cases!!

Waiting is killing us all!! you are not alone!!!

  10. Hello everyone!! I'm kind of new around here but I follow this thread (and some others) very closely.

Well about the transfers, all we can do is speculate, we know nothing for sure and we are basically facing two possible scenarios:

    1. They are only routing new cases to CSC after the first couple weeks of March. Well for what I have read, last time they did a transfer (August) it didn't seem to help shorten processing times in TSC. On the contrary I have read plenty of complains about them losing paper work and other kind of problems. Maybe they learnt from the last time mistakes and are routing only new cases so they can focus on what they already have. If they do not need to work on the expedites (for example) that means they can use that time to work on the existing cases; besides I read somewhere else they were training new adjudicators in TSC.

    or

    2. They already did a transfer. According to the data on Igor's list, October seems to have been skipped, latest approvals in TSC show MOSTLY September and November Applications even 1 or 2 December.

I'm still trying to keep some hope... all we can so is sit tight and wait anyways, only time will tell if the "operational changes" they made are having a good impact on processing times... or not!!
