    Yes you can do that.
Filing as MFS in the USA is fine too but the other way gets a better return. Also since you only worked in Canada that's a better return from Canada too if you get one. Make sure you get all the schedules and forms you need for both.

Yes you can file your exit taxes in Canada. And then file MFJ in the USA. Check the serbinski forums on how to do so when you had Canadian income.

Congrats on the wedding, what beautiful pics, beautiful bride Allie! Thanks for sharing your special day. Im very happy for you both!
I must be one of the last ones not married yet, as my interview approval was just around 4 weeks ago...but will be leaving next week and married a week after that, then starting the AOS and my new life.
Its so nice to see all the october filers sticking together as a group still and getting on with their lives with their loved ones.
Congrats to ALL that are now wed!

Hmmm..I only have about 4 or 5 small boxes of clothes...im keeping nothing, but a few years tax papers and my clothes) but I cant really ship it later, I need my clothes, and I have no one to ship for me. So I dont think it will be an issue for me to ship stuff...hopefully. even if I have to pay customs. It wont be much. My main stuff will be in my suitcase.
Anyone know about how to do POE?? Do we check our luggage in as usual?? Or are we required to do something different?

Correct. Medisys in Montreal is completely approved, regardless of individual doctors. Medisys in Toronto is or any other branch within Canada is not approved by US mission in Canada.

Thanks I found this for ages 27 to 49....my interview I think will be october so ill just get the flu shot at my medical.
I had chicken pox so doubt I need varicella, and I think it looks like I just need Tdap. ?
Tdap (Adacel or Boosterix) - ensure you get Tdap not just Td
MMR Measles, Mumps, Rubella. ("MR" and "MM" are not enough. You need MMR)
Varicella - If you had "Chicken Pox" disease, no vaccine is needed
Influenza (only required during October - February,

You should have gotten the hard copy of your approval from USCIS. If not, then log on to their website and request them to send one, because you'll need it at the appointment at the embassy. DS-160 is what you have to fill out in order to schedule your interview appointment.
Yes, call NVC and give them your SRC number, that you got on your NOA1, and they'll tell you if they have it or if they already sent it to your embassy. Then ask NVC to give you your new case number. You'll need to provide both your full names and birthday dates.
Ps. You do not need to send anything to NVC.

Bring the petitioners birth certificate as well if you can and any original divorce decrees. Both Montréal and Vancouver have asked for these things. Especially original divorce decrees!

You can get blood tests to rule out any vaccinations you don't need but it may be easier to get the vaccines.
Make sure the police check checks CPIC. You only need a name check. http://www.cpic-cipc.ca/index-eng.htm

I don't want to say it's normal but yes TSC is this far behind. TSC is finishing up July and is about 40% done with August. You still have a ways to go, unfortunately. There's another October TSC thread that is a lot more active than this one. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/523533-october-2014-filers-texas-service-center/page-23
