Secondly to answer the above question:
 
New website to check case status:

Old website to check case status:
https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do
 
For us, our receipt number never worked on the old website and still doesn’t work. However the new website has been fairly on point for us. We could only see the updates such as case received, fingerprint review completed, new card is being produced and case was approved all on the new website. Receipt number errors out on the old website.

@Cougarfalcon83 - I cannot speak for CSC specifically, but I tracked VSC pretty closely.  VSC has been moving slowly with January 2018 at the moment.  Both CSC and VSC will most likely be quiet with a I-751 in the next month as H1B filing season begins on April 1. Looking at how much work has been transferred out of CSC, it would appear that we are expecting CSC to potentially come to complete stop in April, while other service centers work on the transferred cases they receive.  That is my analyses.

Actually there are 5 Application Support Centres, just in NYC. So i guess the one closest to me is overwhelmed.
 
Anyways, will keep you guys posted with the progress.

So recently uscis issued GC’s after I-751 application processing with wrong resident since date and now this happened:

they sent incorrect Biometric notices.
 
just wanted to let folks know as there seem to be lot of issues happening with the I-751 applications

ok guys, so i just saw the update which says, that all the h1B applications for this year have now been entered into the system. So i guess now they can start looking into the I-751 applications submitted:

I guess Sharin and Nid12 are correct about the work continuity. Furthermore, i checked the status of April 2017 filers and i guess this happens every year for April and May Filers. I noticed that the NOAs and checks are cashed later but the Receipt date is usually the day after USCIS received the package.

Hi All,
 
We mailed the joint I-751 Petition on May 07 and got delivered today early morning. Lets see how long does it take for checks to be cashed and the NOA to be issued.

Great News!! All validation error messages have now been resolved per my understanding.
All of my receipts are now working, Even the AOS. The status is "Fingerprint Fee Was Received"
You guys should check you receipts too.

Ladies and Gentelmen..
I have a good news to share... today, after 95 days from the day USCIS received our application, my EAD receipt status finally started working and it says, "New Card is being Produced"..
Next step: Waiting for Green Card application.

First of all.. Congratulations on NOA2.
To answer the question:
Thats because your approval is valid for 4 months only.
If you don't proceed with the case i.e. submission of police certificates, medicals and lastly interview within next 4 months, the approval will expire.

We see the same test under next steps as well.. Our case status was not working earlier as well.. I guess its one of those standard templates on website.

It simply means that the letter has left the sorting facility in Dallas, Texas and is on its way. I would expect there to be updates either tonight or tomorrow. You should expect it to be delivered tomorrow. USPS is never any good at keeping timely updates on their website.
Nothing to be worried about.
