My husbands was approved on 3/22, I think the letter came on the 28th. In the meantime we got updates about card being produced and picked up. He had his card on 3/30.

Yeah, ours happened when we least expected.  Oddly, it was almost 1 year to the day from my husband's biometrics appt.

Got this notification about an hour ago- Received email/text and app was updated. Vermont service center.

My husband is 180865xxx and he filed very end of Jan 2018 which would be in line with your theory.

Same for my husband.  Last update was fingerprint reviewed Apr 9th.  We filed end of Jan 2018 and he had biometrics in March.  My original estimate was on a June decision, anything earlier is a bonus I guess.  Haha we are used to seeing other centers process faster, Fiance visa was at Texas lol.

My husband received his extension today as well.

Not that it seems to be making much difference right now (as the VSC estimate time has gone up to 17.5-19.5 months anyway) but to have my case moved to the (generally speaking) slower of the two.... not exactly very encouraging!

 

Does anyone know if this is typical when addresses are changed, regardless of where you move to?

If you check now online VSC is back to 12 to 15.5 months for ROC.

My husband just got his license renewed again last week. The lady who renewed it for us sent everything through the system and then showed us that his status is marked as ‘Indefinite’. 

My husbands says this as well.  

Hubby had his biometrics on Friday 3/23.  His appointment was for 1pm, he arrived about 10 minutes early and was out by about 1:05 - said the Buffalo Office was pretty empty during that time.  They did some fingerprints and pictures.

Now life goes on until approval or an I-551 stamp lol

Wishing everyone the best in their journey, hopefully everyone hears sooner rather than later on their decisions.

Biometrics received 3/12 appointment date 3/23.  As previously stated our letter was also dated 3/2 so took a while for them to send (wasn't postmatked til 3/7).  I think they should schedule a month out if most people are going to lose 7 to 10 days in transit

This could be a state change- I'm the US Citizen and they changed that in NY this year- if you do not get an enhanced license (in lieu of a passport) then your license says Not for Federal purposes.  I opted not to since I already had a passport so my license says Not for Federal purposes even though I'm a citizen.

Our check was cashed 2/5/18 and we also received the NOA1 on 2/5/18- NOA was dated 2/1/18.  Now we wait for biometrics

We are a little late filing based on our window opening, but still within the window before the resident card expires next month.

Hubby's I-751 was mailed Sat 1/27/18.  Delivered yesterday 1/29/18 - just watching for the check to be cashed now

Can I ask where you had your UK passport size photos done? My husband tried Walgreens but they looked at him like he was an idiot when he asked for UK size setting.

26 days from EAD/AP approval and card is still not in production! This is after w service requests filed....however last night we got text that greencard is being produced!!! Guess we can stop worrying about EAD lol

Has anyone had their EAD/AP approved, but waited more than the average 10 days for the card to receive? My husbands EAD/AP was approved Jan 25th, and here we are over 3 weeks later and still no update to card being produced/mailed.

Just trying to see if anyone else has encountered this, and venting a little bit, lol

Still no movement since EAD and AP approved 1/25. Filed a service request last week 2/4 to see if that would help get card produced and its still not assigned.

Two weeks since approval and card still not in production

Email approval of ap ead on 2/2. Got it today 2/6.

Oh wow... Ive been checking pretty much every hour to see. I got the approval notice in the mail yesterday. It's not really a 'big deal' but I really would love to actually have it in my possession!!!

Same for us, I keep checking constantly. We also got our approval notice in the mail almost a week ago.

My USCIS was updated on 1/29 saying approved, but still no card mailed?! How long has it been taking people. I thought most of you were receiving within a week!

When it says a response was sent and the request is now closed. Does that mean they're just sending a letter to us in the mail telling us what the outcome is?

We put in a request 1/19 which was assigned and closed the same day, with note that response was sent. Our case updated to approved on 1/25. We just got letter in mail on 1/29 for result of service request basically saying it was within the 90 day processing times.

mine approved 24 hours later and receive notice of approval by mail 5 days later, now waiting for EAD/AP cards hope will receive it today

Has your EAD case updated to show card being produced and/or mailed? Our case was approved last Monday, 1/25 but as of yet there is no update of card being ordered.
