That is so awful I don't really know what to say other than I wish you all the best and that things will hopefully resume at some point. One thing I have learnt through my 18 month process (just waiting for visa to arrive now....taken 3 months) is that the American government is unemotional, uncaring and terribly run. At not a single in the entire process has their been any form of competence, good management or efficiency. I really wish you all the best in your future immigration endeavors

I'm in the same boat as you give or take a few days. It is literally stunning that they approve you a visa and then you have to wait weeks to receive it. It has been 5 months since my CC at the NVC when I thought all the pain was over. But no, it's continued and unsurprising incompetence by US government systems.
What annoys me most is that people with their interview the day before me received their visas within 8-9 days. For me now it has been 12 days and CEAC still says bloody 'ready' as if I haven't had my damn interview.

I have no idea what would make you tell them that at your medical OP. Should have just kept your mouth shut. As if it was necessary to tell them you abused substances 15 years ago.......
It's legal in 2 states and borderline legal in like 20 others. US criminal system is beyond a joke about things like this

I really feel for you after reading the last few pages of this thread. I know we are all in difficult situations but yours in particular is heart breaking. Stay strong and I desperately

Had my interview yesterday. I had some photos but they didn't ask for anything. It was at UKembassy. I'd do what you say and just have photos from throughout your relationship. Others have also taken flight details from visits and scripts from online conversations etc but I think it depends on the embassy

CR1 approved today! Arrived at around 12.10 and was fourth in the line and spoke to some very nice people.
We were lit in at 12.30 and people starting getting called up at 1.00pm. Went to the first window and handed my documents which were all fine. He then asked for another passport photo which I had two of but were the same
As the one he had. He told me I needed one from the last 6 months so I had to leave the embassy and run round the corner to Goulds pharmacy to get one as I didn't have the change for the booth in the embassy.
Got back with my photo and went to the same window. Was held back in the line a little but all was well. Went to sit back down and was called to another window the lady was a friendly middle aged American women who asked me:
-where did me and my wife meet?
-how did we stay in touch? (To which I replied she lived in UK with me)
-who was my joint sponsor.
Then that was it I was approved and she mentioned the hold up visa printing.

Just called to confirm that my case was indeed completed yesterday. Now onto the interview stage. The lady said that they are currently scheduling London interviews for May so fingers crossed I'll have my date ready and sorted soon!

Your scan date was feb 17th and you got a checklist feb 21st - so your review period was 4 days???
Then they reviewed your second packet of documents in approx. 27 days???
I am confused

Just got through to an absolute dimwitted cowbag at the NVC who told me my case still hadn't been reviewed and tried to tell me it has been 61 days. I kindly reminded her that there are 31 days in both December and January which would make it 63 days. She then refused outright to tell me which date was being reviewed today and did whatever she could to get me off the phone.
I am so sick of being treated like scum by these people. I really hope she burns her toast in the morning, every morning for the rest of the year

So what they are saying is within a few months of doubling the review period to 60 days they are now already behind and it is now taking 66 days.

Today is my 56th day. I am hoping for a CC by the end of the week
If it wasn't for all the snow days and holidays I may have heard from them last week. Desperately hoping for CC and not a checklist
