  1. I thought we had to wait to send the AOS & IV package until after the IV fees were paid? IS that right that you can send them beforehand? We have paid our AOS fee and completed DS261 but are waiting for the IV fee and DS260 to open up.

I've seen a lot of people send the package prior to paying IV and fill out DS-260. I also read someone waited for IV bill more than a month, but he got CC just a week after he filled out DS260 cause he had sent his package right after paying AOS.

  2. Is anyone in this forum thinking or is using the I-864EZ form? I also noticed they updated the versions of the I-864. I was able to print the older version before they were revised, but not sure if I should send the revised form. It also says the older version is accepted until October 6th. If this is the case, I rather use the older version, it seems easier to me. The new version, seems to ask more questions, although not complicated questions. But still, I would rather use older version. Hopefully I get to send the packages soon!!!

My hubby used the I-864EZ form since he's the only sponsor, and I am the only beneficiary. It's easier than I-864.

  3. Hmm yeah i am not exactly sure, but for a while i was having issues loging into the system even though i had my case number and invoice number since wednesday. I did call NVC about it on wednesday to let them know i had problems loging in. Yes that would be very cool! haha. The Jakarta Embassy is not as congested as alot of others from what i've seen anytime i have to go there so we may all get bunched up at the same date!

That's awesome! Just remember my username in case you would see me on the day. Lol

  4. Hi maniput,

I am going through the exactly same thing - my husband got the DS-261 reviewed on the phone yesterday too and now my IV fee looks as $0.

I am hoping they will update it and let us pay this still today...

By the way, NVC couldn't review the DS-261 for my daughter on the phone yesterday - her IV fee still looks as "NOT INVOICED". We're hoping they can do it today so our cases will be approved together.

    Hi BRlove,

Thanks for replying. So it's not only me then. Probably NVC is processing our IV fee. Hopefully that's the case.

It's a hassle if they don't approve your cases together. Maybe you can call them again and ask to review your daughter's DS-261.

  5. Hi, I am wondering if anyone has experienced this before. Yesterday my husband called NVC regarding IV fee that hasn't been invoiced yet and they said they have reviewed our DS-261 and will process the IV bill (We have paid AOS fee and sent out AOS & IV package). Now, I just checked CEAC page, there is no name at all under applicant name for IV Application Processing Fees, where it was my name and my birth year before. The total amount selected is also $0. It was not invoiced before. Am I just being paranoid? Or is NVC processing my IV fee at the moment?

  6. Praise the lord I was approved!!! P.D Feb 27th. To God be the Glory am so glad. About few days ago, I read someone say he/she called USCIS and asked to speak to an immigration officer so I told my hubby about it. So he decided to call them yesterday, he initially spoke to the USCIS customer service representative who told us they are processing Jan 13th files in TSC and said we should be patient as usual but insisted he wanted to speak to an immigration officer. She asked for all our informations and said we should give them 45days to make a decision. When he told me 45days, I busted into tears for hours. I didn't understand why I should wait another 45days when we were about to clock 6months next week. This morning my husband was just talking to me on the phone and decided check our status online, he couldn't believe the approval notice was yesterday 20th of Aug. and he had to re check the receipt number again if it was correct. Behold it was our approval we haven't gotten any email or text msg. To those waiting for their approval ur testimony will come like it did for us. Be strong, patient they will get to ur case.

Praise the Lord! Congratulations! I am happy for you. Pray that the next stage will be way smoother for you. :)

  7. I just finished paying my AOS and IV Fees!! Hopefully they clear soon, so I can proceed with the DS-260!!

I have already started on gathering all the documents to arrange those packages, and not waste time!

I feel we are so very close to be with our loved one!!!

Yay! Congrats! I haven't been able to pay my IV fees, but already sent out all the docs to NVC.

Agree! I just can't wait to be with my husband :luv:

  8. Hi All:

So frustrated, I am at VSC with a PD of 02/27/15. I just got an email that they are transferring my case to another Service Center. I have to wait on the letter in snail mail with more detailed information. I am thankful that they didn't lose my case, but can't believe it is taking so long. Please pray that I have patience.

Hi, where did they transfer your case to? Usually you will get approval soon after your case got transferred. That's what I've read from other cases. We will pray for your approval. Hang in there. :)

  9. good news i have a case number and invoice number !!

BAD news .. I'm getting this error "The selected Case Number and Invoice Identification Number combination you entered does not match our records"

im sure about having the right numbers because i doble check them when i was on the phone with NVC operator.

any sugestions ? may be is because is to soon to make payments?

    please help.....

No, it's not too soon. My husband paid it right after he got case number on the phone. Probably they are fixing or updating the system. Try again tomorrow.
