  1. Hi! Hope everybody is

doing well. Few questions from a friend who came In here as a J1 visa four years ago. Her BF proposed to her to get married. What is the process they need to do when it comes of

immigration process? Any advice would really appreciated.

  2. I am wondering if my son will be come a US Citizen automatically after My Oath ceremony?  My husband and I started this journey doing the K1 Visa and arrived in the US in 2015.  We went back in 2016 to the Philippines to pick up my son and bring him back to the US.  He has been here since 2016.  He is currently 11 years old.  We did file for his 10 year green card.  Just curious if we need to do anything additional for him to be come a US Citizen since I will be after my Oath ceremony.

    Thanks for the help 😊

No you can apply when you are eligible. He has nothing to do with your N-400 and can’t apply as he is not 18. So no fee no bio or anything for him. He will however become a citizen when you do because he is in your custody, under 18 and a GC holder. So you can apply for a N-600 and/or passport for him after your oath ceremony.

thank you so much :) Its a huge help :) God bless

  4. Hi there, few questions about filling N400. I received my 10 year GC last July 2019 came in here as K2 visa. I have a 10 year old son K2 visa follow-to join. He came in here a year after i came. his 2 year GC expired this month January 2020, but we applied his 10 year GC last September 2019. We received a letter saying they received his application, got a biometrics letter yesterday for him.

    Heres my question :)

    * Should i wait for his 10 year GC before applying the N400??

    * Are we going to fill up the N400 for both of us??

*I know the filling fee is for both of us since his under age, what about the biometrics fee is it for each of us??

    Thank You guys in advance

  5. Hi All, i would like to get some info regarding the I-751 properly filling procedures. I have a k-2 followed to join he's 9 years old. Should we file his I-751 together or just me? I'm a little bit confused right now. I filled my I-751 last September 30, 2017 and the Vermont Service Center received my Application October 03, 2017. Had my biometrics October 30, 1017. Received two extension letters already. Last November 21, 2018 i received a noticed that my case was transferred to Texas Service Center. Then yesterday 26th i received by the mail my RFE, they sent last January 04, 2019 and i just got it yesterday :( My question is should me and my K-2 followed to join file the I-751 together? or just me for right now?????

    Thank you all in advance...

Now a second update. I just got another update from USCIS 30 mins ago saying they moved my file to another office. That’s 2 updates now, about moving my case. I got the first notification on Friday by 4pm and this one today a little after 6pm. I’m pretty confused and anxious now about what this means.

For those who had their cases move to another office, did you ever get a second notification after the first one?

That’s very confusing. I didn’t get any notification where’s my application is. The last update was way back April that transfer the application to the local office. That’s it :(

  7. Hello Everyone,

I have a question.  We sent the paperwork in for our AOS for my wife son for K2.  He was included on her K1 Visa but he arrived at a later date.  We have been having issues with the packet, we had sent it in 3 times now, it was rejected on the first 2 times because of a missing signature.  My question is we have been holding off to file our Taxes because we want to claim him on it.  He was here for most of 2016.  Its been over 2 weeks now and still no word on our 3rd attempt when sending the packet in.  Usually if it was rejected we would have gotten a noticed by now.  Looks like i will need to file and extension on my taxes.  Is there a way we can still file him on our taxes without a SSN?  Maybe a ITIN?  Not sure how all that works.

You also need to include a copy of NOA of your I 129F approval (I actually included NOA1 and NOA2 for my kids), you can also include a copy of the US Embassy manila letter with his name on it and MNL case number. Include a cover letter on your response explaining that he was your derivative/ K2 on your I 129F petition and cite other documents that you can attached that will link his name/ MNL case number to yours.

Thanks :) I'll do that... Have a blessed day/night ahead.
