For those who filed for their naturalization.. did you include 2018 tax returns or tax transcripts? Can we upload additional documents once the online application has been submitted?

My husband stayed with me in the Philippines from August 2015 until our departure to the US on April 2016. Since he didn't work in the Philippines and had no income, our co-sponsor was his mom. For Affidavit of Support, he (hubby) also presented his tax transcript from the previous year so I guess you should take care of that before you go back to the Philippines. If you're only planning on staying in the Phils for a few months I don't think you'll be scrutinized too much regarding domicile. You can present your bank statements, driver's license, a letter from your mom stating that you're welcome to stay at her residence, etc.

I printed on one side only for ease of review. I had about 1.5 inches of documents- mostly bank statements and utility bills.

When you fill in the AR11 don''t forget the i-865 sponsors change of address too. I didn't know there was such thing until I found myself changing my address and some fellow vjer pointed it out to me. It isn't really mentioned on the USCIS site, so it's easy to overlook.

It's alright you're still preparing for your AOS anyways. Once you get your MNL case number it's going to be fast! So have all your documents ready for the interview to avoid further delays.

Tax transcripts are usually available within 6- 8 weeks after filing. Others get theirs much earlier.
But, you're not required to provide the transcripts. You don't have to wait for the 2015 transcript to be available. All you need is the 2015 1040, W2's, etc. - basically the things you needed when you filed taxes.
Tax transcripts from previous years will be mailed in 5-10 days.

We received that reply too, then the following day we received our MNL case number. Just hang in there. You may receive your approval within the week or early next week.

bellashay got a reaction from meandmom in How fast from interview to visa pick-up (if no AP)?
Depends on when the visa gets issued. During my interview, we were told to wait 5- 10 working days. My interview was Monday morning and when I got home the status says issued already. I picked up my passport and visa package on Wednesday so only 2 business days in my case.
    Good luck!

Hi MrsHips, everything's fine since she instructed you guys to pay. If it wasn't accepted she wouldn't have asked you to pay the $420 fee. My husband was in the Philippines for 6months and 2days when we filed the petition and the Filipina lady wasn't too happy about it either despite him having met the "residency status." We showed his Phil. driver's license, lease agreement from my dad, guest form from the condo where he stayed for a month he first got here and cable bills.
Good luck on your journey. Take care.

Your wife can attend the CFO GCP seminar even without a visa. Register now to check the available dates. They have daily appointments anyway so I'm pretty sure you can get a March slot.

Registration takes less than 10 minutes to complete.

Yes you need to get a co- sponsor. Another thing that you need to be concerned about is establising your US domicile seeing as you've never stayed in the US for more than 2 months at a time.
