  1. There are definitely plenty of approvals of people that aren't on vj or people who never come back to update their timeline... have yall not heard of the tsc fairy? http://eepurl.com/bn-xur

218 days and approved. Hang in there guys and contact your reps if you want peace of mind, mine had gotten back to me saying were were assigned to an officer 2 weeks ago, and today the same message but we had an ARN number assigned.

  2. Tsc is approving October and the finishing September too. November and December approvals we have seen are spotty at best and most likely done on purpose to fluff their internal numbers so they don't seem so behind. there are still plenty of sept/Oct/Nov waiting and quite frankly it's pretty aggravating to see that #######. Congrats to you but it's definitely not decembers "time" yet.

  3. Reported for asking fr someone's ARN. That's personAL and protected information.

I don't believe you are really a USCIS case worker like you claim.

If you are. You can expect someone to be calling by the end of the day for your inappropriate conduct.

You should be doing YOUR JOB. instead you've been nothing but disdainful and disrespectful to members here who are suffering with unfair wait times.

  4. Can you not just go and BE with her and her father? Let him see you together and spend time with him and the rest of her family. I don't understand how family could want you to make that sacrifice of keeping yourselves apart any longer by starting over. Especially so close to actually having the visa and being able to be together for good.

Really frustrating isnt it! The main thing is, if her father is so sick, then the CR1 she will have extra time to stay living there with him, and upon approval would get a green card and thus be able to travel back to her home for a visit anytime. With the K1 if she is approved, comes to the US, and then quickly needs to return home, she would not able to able to do so. It takes a few months after filing for adjustment of status to receive the EAD/AP.

This is a good point though.

Go check out the current timeline for a CR-1 and carefully decide.

  5. I think it's really awesome that some who have received their NOA2s are sticking around for support. I plan on doing that as well once I've received mine.

Perhaps we can start a September 2014 Filers (TSC) Post-NOA2 thread to go through the last bit together? I feel like I'm going to have tons of questions throughout the next process, too.

  6. I will update my timeline as soon as I get my NOA2. Do you know guys if I or my fiancé will get emails or mails? And what's next waiting for us? Do we need to send some papers an documents to NVC?

The petitioner gets emails if they've signed up, and the paper noa2.

You don't need to send anythin to the nvc.

the beneficiary can prepare for medical and interview if they haven't done all they can already (immunization revords, police reprort, birth cert copies, passport photos )

In about two weeks the petitioner can call the nvc to get the new case number. With that the beneficiary can make their medical appt.

The nvc will route the case to the appropriate embassy, and then they contact the beneficiary with further instructions (

  7. I need help please.

sending in my letter of intent to marry, some advice I ''wet sign'' it while others say ''use original signature''

am the beneficiary and can only get this letter across to my fiancé to submit through email. to do this, I need to type, print, sign and scan the letter and email it. that's having a SCANNED SIGNATURE.

My fiancé will she have to write hers with ink or type and print it out?

what do u have to advice please.... cos its an RFE we are responding to.

No, your fiance needs to mail it. A wet signature means the original copy of the paper the pen their hand was holding signed with.

  8. we are all going through the same thing. no one deserves more attention than anyone else. if that happened, I'd have even less faith in the system. isn't that why everyone was mad that the Philippines was getting more attention?

Sorry, should have been more specific in my quoting. The part I agree with was in the first paragraph, the theory that Jerry may have actually been talking to a Tier 1 claiming to be 2 on a Friday afteroon after 5pm.
  9. av8or1, the conversation you had with the tier 2 sounds exactly like the convo I had with the tier 1! And I know this might be a weird suggestion/thing to imply, but how do we actually know the person we speak to isn't a tier 1 claiming to be a 2? I say this, because I know of a company that I cannot name, that may or may not do callbacks with 'supervisors'. In some instances those 'supervisors' are actually just the same front line tier 1 persons being ordered to sort of 'pretend' to do so because of short staffing. Not saying that the government does this. Just got me thinking though. Some persons seem to have very good success with tier 2 and other times....

I find it perhaps a little even more abhorrent in your case, that you specially got acknowledgement from the USCIS/the President in that letter, and still your case gets no attention.

I said the same thing, I agree with you. especially on a Friday afternoon... with the amount of calls they get..

  10. You would be surprized. I know exactly what the easiest way to get into the US is, thanks to lawyers.

Oh yeah? Please share your secrets! I'm sure all of us waiting patiently at TSC would love to know how to get our loved ones here faster! $

Lawyers are a waste of money, period. You can tell yourself otherwise, but they don't know any more about what is really going on with USCIS than the members of this forum do.
