    Congrats!
I called in yesterday, they informed that my case was received but not yet input into the system. The gentlemen did not provide a case # to me, he told me it would take 2-3 weeks.
For the heck of it, I tried calling again this morning, after 15 mins wait, lovely lady I spoke to provided me with my case number.
You should try calling again on Monday.

    Hi aidensbubba,
congrats! Very happy for you that your case has been approved. Perhaps you can read the NVC guide that I copied below. (Link also included).
As you mentioned, it's been 3 wks since your case was approved, it may seem that you can try to call NVC and see if you can obtain your case number. Hope it helps.
Update us if you are able to get your case number.
    Good luck!

Ok September filers! Since September is drawing to a close, and most of us have received our NOA1’s – I thought I’d create a short guide to get folks thinking about what they’ll need to prep for the next stages at the NVC. I welcome your additions/edits to make this better!!
NOTE: This is NOT a comprehensive NVC guide – there are other parts of this site dedicated to that topic and I’d encourage you to check out those boards too. The focus here is on what you can do to prep for the NVC while you wait for your NOA2.
As you know the wait time between your NOA1 and NOA2 at the USCIS is typically the longest part of the process. It helps to get things ready and familiarized with what comes next while you have plenty of time.
misshepburn’s Waiting for your NOA2 Guide
    1. Double check to make sure your duplicate copy of your recently mailed i-130 package is in order. You will want to have copies of everything you sent to USCIS (in case they lose anything) plus the originals. Remember this file is part of what the non-USC spouse will be taking to their interview.
    2. Create a profile with USCIS and add your case to it.
    Link is here: https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/showSplash.do
    3. If you have a smart phone, you may want to download the “USCIS Case Tracker” app from Apple app store or Android store – this will help you easily track your case. A popular Apple version is by Stephen Aldous.
    4. If you and your spouse live apart, and/or haven’t been married very long, keep maintaining your Skype/Whatsapp/Facetime/call etc. logs that you sent with your i-130. In the interview the case officer may ask the non-USC spouse for additional documentation to prove an ongoing relationship. Its good to have this info ready to go if needed.
    5. The USC and joint sponsor (if you are using one) can go ahead and request tax transcripts from the IRS. They take about 1-2 weeks to get in the mail. The USC can also collect an employment letter; pay stubs, and fill the i-864.
    6. See how long it will take to get police certificates (and what your country-specific expiration date might be) in the non-USC’s country. A lot of folks recommend waiting to request these until your application has spent a few months in the processing center, or once you get your NOA2. It doesn't hurt to check into this early though, find out what documents you need to request and how long it will take to get them.
    7. Have the non-USC spouse check to see what vaccines they have documentation for and what they might be missing. It’s easier to get these done ahead of time rather than at the last minute during your medical evaluation – some vaccines need multiple doses over several months, which could also waste more time when you are almost at the end of the process!
    https://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/immigrate/vaccinations.html
    8. Read the NVC process guide on VJ at least 3 times! Read it, print it out, read it again, and again! There are many good tips.
    http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/NVC_Process

Read/review: “James’ shortcuts” and/or “LingChe Shortcuts” both are older VJ documents, but still good.

    http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/LingChe_NVC_ShortCut

    9. Preview the DS-260 here: https://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/DS-260%20Exemplar.pdf
This will be filled out from the perspective of the non-USC spouse. Make sure you have all of this info ready to fill in when you reach the NVC.
    10. Familiarize yourself with the supporting document guidelines from the State Department:
    https://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/immigrate/immigrant-process/documents/Supporting_documents.html
Please let me know if you have any suggestions for edits/additions!! Thanks guys!

    Awesome info guys !
One more question. Now that I have received physical copy of NOA1 I want to be proactive in gathering up other documents that I will need in further stages of the cases.
That being said, I know that I need Police Clearance from Canada. Do you guys recommend that I go ahead and apply for it or rather wait till I get an official request ?

If helps, my husband added me to his WellsFargo account earlier this month when I visited. We just submitted our I-130 packet, so I do not have any SSN, or any US ID. All they asked was for my passport and a current credit card that showed my name which had to match my passport. Took about 5-10 mins.

Updated the team. Revised what we track on the list. Since most people move on to the NVC and Embassy section of VJ once they have case approved at USCIS, I have changed the list to track cases up to reaching NVC. This way, our list will provide more details on USCIS portion of the cases. This is what's changed on the new list: Removed Case Complete and Interview dates Added when NOA2 was received in the mail after the approval Added how many days it took for a case to get approved from the NOA1 date. Looking forward to your suggestions. A judgment in Orange County will look the same as a judgment in every other county in California. We have specific judicial council forms that are either mandatory or for optional use, and the judgment for a dissolution of marriage is a mandatory form. Here is what a blank version looks like: http://www.courts.ca.gov/documents/fl180.pdf
You will need a certified copy with the judge's signature on the second page, along with a file stamp on the first page in the upper right hand corner. You will also need all the pages attached to the judgment. Ms. Hogan provided the proper link to obtain the judgment -- this is how he needs to obtain his copy. It is very easy to do, either online or at any Superior Court location in person: http://www.occourts.org/locations/ The bonus of doing it in person is you can get the documents immediately (if you order online you still need to wait for them to be mailed).

Your future-husband will need to go to the county that his divorce took place in and ask for a certified copy of the document. They look different depending on the county. It isn't complicated. If he doesn't have his copy from when his divorce took place then they will ask for a fee and create a copy which they can certify as a true to original copy. You will need it throughout your process so have him take care of it right away.

Correct he will answer 'Yes" and also fill in the pertaining information about her that is requested on the question #14.
Divorce decree can come from the County Courthouse they keep a copy on file if he does not have a copy.
If he gets a copy have him get it certified at courthouse and keep original for interview.

Clarification on "original" divorce decree vs "certified copy". The actual "original" is always kept at the courthouse. All you ever get is a "certified copy". This is what you'll physically bring to the interview to show them, as opposed to what you send in with the application, which is just a plain old photocopy of this "certified copy". Same goes for birth certificates.
