Thank you so much, The Consulate told me at the end of the interview that I'll get an SMS or email once my passport is ready for pick up at the pick up location and also the yellow slip which he gave me it is written there also that I have to pick up but I am not sure how long it will take.I will keep you posted once I get any update on that......

Hi all just wanted to share that all the wait has finally ended yesterday. I had my interview and was approved. I cannot really put into words exactly how happy I was when the consul said that everything is looking good and my visa was approved. I am so thankful to everyone here in visa journey who have patiently answered my questions and who i have met personally.

The wait was way way easier ever since I joined visa journey. Kudos to the people who never get tired of helping people like me who only wants nothing but to be with their loved ones.

one question for you.. do you recall if the embassy offered a choice of language to be interviewed in.. just in case anyone is more comfortable in something other than english.. ie hindi, etc?

Hi DC12345, I wonder what documents you brought to the biometric appointment. Did you make an appointment for biometrics online? or call by phone? I read the instructions on the interview letter and we logged in to choose a delivery place to pick up visa. but I don't know where to make an appointment for biometrics. I read the instructions on the website and it said to bring an affidavit of support to biometrics appointment. Is that true?

You have to book an online appointment for biometrics, No you don't have to bring AOS.Just a copy of your VAC appointment confirmation page and DS-260 conformation page and your passport.

Hooray!! Just got the interview appointment letter (P4) via email!!! It is April 9th!!! Now going to make appointments for medical examination and biometric.

Congrats DC12345. I didn't get a chance to post any updates as I am in India with my hubby. My hubby's interview is tomorrow at New Delhi Embassy. He already had everything done (biometrics and medical). I'd definitely post his experience at the embassy. Just pray for him and me. I'd waited a long time for this day. Hello,you will have to carry your passport , DS-260 confirmation page, Appointment confirmation pages and a passport photograph (2 x 2 in).

Do NOT apply for PCC again.

Carry the second copy with you to the interview.

Make sure u make photocopies of the original PCC.

Carry both, the original and the copies.
