CeeMu. Thank you for your supporting words. It's really a test of patience for all. I have been at NVC since January. I'm really really tired with these Checklists, but what can we do !!!!

Daveadams903, Did you get an e-mail from NVC about the actual date they received your documents? My e-mail stated that they received my documents on May 29. And anytime I call the Rep says the same date. Anyway , like CeeMu said, we are all within the CC period, So by Friday we shall all laugh. By the Grace of God.

Hello Everyone! I called the NVC early this morning, I thought my checklist SD was May 29th but according to the lady I talked to they Scanned my documents on the 3rd. They still keep saying before the holidays will be complete. finger crossed and good luck everyong waiting a CC this week!

I'm over the MOON!!!!! Just got off the phone with NVC and my case was completed on June 26th.
Checklist SD was: May 15th 2015, placed in Supervisor queue on: June 18th 2015 and CC on June 26th 2015.

no it tells you not to count anyone twice 1 for the immigrant and 1 for you, household 2 . Your wife was already counted as the immigrant u r sponsoring therefor she will not be counted as your spouse also .

Thank you. I hope you will get case complete soon. For evidence of income copy of paycheck stubs or employment letter. Most embassy the tax transcript is enough, but it is never a bad ideal to have more proof ,as in the case of the op.
Each embassy is different . At my wife interview she told me they did not look at any of the paper work I sent to her for the interview. Still I will suggest to take more proof then needed instead of less proof to interview

Okay this is the week. We going to fill in those interview dates. Fingers crossed prayers up. Especially for my New Delhi peeps.

I just got off the phone with the NVC. Lady sd documents haven't been reviewed. She sd it's ALMOST complete! And to call back before the holiday! Does this means something good??

Scan date : 13th may , Case completed on 10th June. Interview scheduled on 24th June. Interview date : AUGUST 4,2015

Daveadams, I called yesterday yet nothing positive, so I decided to recall on Monday afternoon or evening. Monday will be 32/30 of my SD, which is 05/29. Oh God help and free us from this ordeal

Anh map is correct it is current income that is most important. Was the tax form and w-2 for the current tax year 2014? Did you show other evidence of current income

Current and continuing income is what is measured unless a person is self-employed. Past years' tax returns show a trend. What did you submit to show that her income NOW meets the standard?

Go down to the Social security office on Monday hopefully you are in the system by now and you can get things going. Sometimes at the POE the SS gets triggered sometimes no. Since you have nothing to do start there.
You can also be online looking for work. Monster.com and careerbuilder.com and many temp agencies are great. Google is your friend ya know. Don;t just sit around. Where is your spouse to help you with things.

its your choice. either he stays and adjusts which will give him proper documents to work and live here if approved. or he goes back home and you choose which visa you want to apply for.
longer or shorter. if he stays here and you adjust he gets work permit and travel documents until he greencard is approved. if he leaves it can take 6 months to a year with either k1 visa or spousal visa.
aren't you happy you can choose? lol
and cheer up don't feel lost or confused just sit with him and decide which process works for both of you.

My case was completed yesterday (24 june). Called this morning at 6:59 their time and found out
