So I have a possibly very exciting question!
I logged onto the uscis website today as I though...you never know. It says on my updates for AOS that on 1/29 they received my response to RFE. Then same date it's update again saying new card in production!
Tell me it's true please?!?!? It's (GC) is coming right???

We are back from Ireland and Tim had no issues using his AP at US pre-clearance at the Dublin airport. We were prepared with all of our documentation but all he needed was his EAD/AP combo card.
Now we are just waiting for his interview on Feb 19th.

Firstly why do you care what I asked in another thread??? Secondly it a simple yes or no answer I was looking for, I don't recall asking any other advise on THIS thread. Why is so hard for people to just say yes or no without giving their 5 cents worth when it wasn't asked for???? You already making a judgement before you even know anything. It's not simple. In another thread, you asked what's an I-864. You think it's simple, but it's not.
If you think it's simple, then tell the CBP that you plan to enter the US on your visitor visa to marry a USC. You will find yourself simply put on a plane back home without being allowed in the US.

Marrying on a tourist visa with the intent to stay in the USA and adjust your status, constitutes as visa fraud. That said, yes, you can marry in the USA on a tourist visa. After which, you must return home and have your US spouse file a CR-1.

You probably want to see an American divorce attorney before you return to your country. See if you can get a free initial consultation. Definitely show the attorney the pre-nuptial agreement. Get an opinion if the pre-nup has any holes in it. Also, any wealth he accumulated since you've been married to him might be part of any divorce settlement. Don't assume you get nothing.

I'm not 100% if this applies in Florida (would be strange if it was different though) but as you two are married he can't throw you out of your home. Even if you're name is not on the house/apartment you're married and he can't kick you out as it's now your home too. You don't have to leave until you're divorced. I completely understand that it will take a few days for you and your son to leave.

Yes we have a prenup I don't get anything from him except plane ticketsand I agreed to that so I am not looking for money because my relationship was truthful and my feelings for him were real but I don't want to be threatened that I won't have food for me and my son or to be kicked out of his house because I have been faithful to him since day one

The one downside of migrating for newcomers. The pressure to settle and 'threats' from 'scums' like OP's husband. Hopefully you make a reasonable decision that would best suit you and son in the long run.

He can't just throw you out sicne you are his wife. So don't let him bully you. When you came they didn't tell you that you don't have to endure abuse from the person bringing you here? You need to document and show proof of the abusive treatment.

Op can apply for TANF or WIC to support herself and her son. OP's husband will be coughing that money from his paycheck.
OP could go to the local FoodBank to get some food.
Let me warn OP that, her husband has already threatened to "f " her up. Don't take that lightly. if you are going to be continue living in the same house with husband then you should be cautious of the actions you take.

OP could reachout to her family back home for plane fare. And let him deal with the divorce. Divorce can be very expensive.

Feels to me that the OP knows she needs to go back to her home country and I don't think she cares if she gets anything out of the divorce. WHAT SHE DOES want to know is what rights she has as the wife of an American regarding him treating her like garbage not providing food etc for her and her son before she leaves the country.

Hi guys, i just noticed a strange thing on our status online. Our EAD receipt number shows the card has been mailed to us. But our AP receipt number just shows as case approved. We already received the combo card so i'm guessing only the ead receipt number was important since it's a combo card once your case has been approved? Just fyi for everyone still waiting for there EAD/AP

We just got a text that Tim's EAD and AP were approved!!!! Very happy news so we can now go see his son!!!! Hope everyone receives some good news soon.

Hello Fellow October AOS Filers,
Just a little information, this is my first time posting on the thread but I have been waiting on EAD and Advanced Parole since October 5, 2015, I called today and was able to get a service request for the EAD since it has been at least 75 days.
So if you're still waiting, call USCIS and give them your information and they will open a Service Request, and he explained to me that it just puts a notice to the service center that the 90 days is approaching for your particular case and they will send you an update within 2 weeks. It basically just puts attention to your case and a hopeful expedited approval. I read where someone did a Service Request and got an approval within 4 days. Fingers Crossed!

I seriously think my case has been forgotten!!! Oh well atleast I am with my husband .. Not like k1. *counting my blessing lol*

I wasn't checking regularly because my wife didn't apply for EAD/AP. We were very pleasantly surprised by the quick approval. (Must have missed being produced).
