  1. This is absolutely insane....

I have decided to stop checking this forum, because I was getting depressed and today I got this email...

I am overwhelmed from emotions and yes I cried a lot, I am still in between crying and smiling:) I am so so so so happy, I cannot express my feelings:)

If I knew I have to quit this forum in order to get approved I would have done it months ago LOL

I am so blessed to have all of you supporting me in this journey and I want to say big thank you to all. Hang in there the rest who are still waiting, I know the struggle is real I passed through it:(

I must say me and my hubby are going on vacation next week, so this is going to be the most awesome vacation ever.

    Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

I cannot believe this actually happened, this is absolutely insane and crazy.

Now I am off to work, but will be checking this forum as I have been doing until now(on daily basis)

Kash, please update VSC status accordingly and thank you so much everybody:)

There has been a recent processing action taken on your case.

    Receipt Number: EAC+++++++++++

Application Type: CRI89, PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED

Your Case Status: Card/ Document Production

On August 6, 2015, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number EAC+++++++++, and will mail it to the address you gave us. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

Yo Yo Yo. Plam. I just logged on to see how far along you have reached. And I see this message. Congratulations!. I am so glad that you got approved before Sammy. :-).

Very good news. Happy for you.

Moe: Now you can put a BIG smile on your face. Your wishes came true for plam.

    Sammy: Next is your turn.

  2. While I am happy that people are starting to get their approvals, I just have to wonder why the people who sent in their applications in the latter part of the month are getting approved.

Don't mean to be all sour grapes as I am happy for you guys just more curious than anything else.

    Moe/Plam/Sammyboy

There is some hope here. I got a text and an email this morning stating that my case was approved and card was in production. so looks like things are moving.

Kash: Please update the data approval date: July 13th, 2015. 231 days since NOA date.

Moe: Hopefully I will be able to vote for your favorite candidate, Mr. Trump. :-). or may be Ms. Palin if she decides to run again. :-)).

  3. Still nothing from mofo USCIS yet...hurry up come on!1

That is my rant for today!

This place is awfully quiet today. I hear no quasi foul words.. ;-).

whats the matter today? looks like everyone is slammed with work in this heat.

whats the matter today? looks like everyone is slammed with work in this heat.

Either that or some people are busy developing molson muscles on the beach of Hawaii.

  4. So I went to my info pass appointment and got my passport stamped with an I-551 stamp valid for 1 year from today. I asked if they can give me a case status update, and he said they don't have any updates and something about that it takes so long to process applications because they don't have enough people... Also, he said that I can apply for citizenship if my ROC case is still pending by the time I am eligible to apply for citizenship which I knew already anyway. I asked him if it is ok that my case status is not updated on the website, and he said it is ok, doesn't mean anything.

So I didn't hear anything new really, just got my passport stamped and can now confidently travel and return to the U.S. till June 2016...

Just realized that I forgot to ask the officer about what happens if I travel and get my ROC approved while being outside the U.S., and if I don't have a new physical card on hand returning to the U.S. Anybody knows how that works?

Physical Green card is simply a proof of residency. so is I 551 stamp in your passport. Which means if you have traveled outside of the country and they have delivered the green card at your home, you should be okay with your I 551 stamp in the passport. YOu should be able to enter the country without any trouble from them.

  5. That's funny, my husband and I have the same problem. We have planned a big trip this year which we are planning to start in the second half of July, but if I don't get my ROC approved in the next couple of weeks we will have to cancel the trip and postpone it to the next year (we want to travel in summer). I am also not buying any tickets or paying for any hotels. I have started applying for visas though. It is also hard to apply for visas when you don't know exactly when your trip will happen... :( I am already mentally getting ready to cancel this year's big trip, but my husband is hoping we can still make it... I wish I knew that VSC is so slow before we started planning the trip...

You do not need to cancel the trip for this reason.

Get online and get an infopass appointment from your nearest USCIS center.

take your NOA and passport to your infopass appointment to get an I 551 stamp.

They will stamp your passport which equivalent to having a green card.

I got it done in Dec. and since then I have travelled twice outside the country...no issues whatsoever.

  6. Someone in the K1 forum wants to start blowing up the TSC on Twitter/Social Media because they have been waiting since September of last year.

I can see K1 taking a bit of time but I751 really? USCIS already has all of our ####### that we have submitted in the last 2 previous applications. It should be an easy process...uggh

Moemac: do you care to explain what do you mean by #######??? I do not understand English well. it would be helpful. :-)

complaining on twitter is not going to help them. It looks like VSC has manpower problems.

  7. USCIS you frustrate me so!!!! I just called them and the beotch operator would not put me through to an immigration officer even though I insisted that she do so. She said that I was within the normal processing time frame. I asked why CSC Jan apps were being approved. She gave me total garbage/standard USCIS bs answer about VSC being within it's normal timeframe.

Next time they try to give me the runaround about this I will be more persistent in speaking with an IO or at least CSR's supervisor.

Hey Moemac and Plam: Happy Monday morning! :-).

Moemac: It looks like you have a spelling mistake in the word 'beotch'. do you want to correct it and rewrite? and hopefully they will hear our plea.

Guys....It looks like nothing will change. They are simply chewing up time so that they can transfer the cases to CSC.

  8. Hi, my green card will be expired on 19th Nov 2015 and I will be submitting my paperwork to USCIS for processing my paperwork on 17th Aug 2015 which will be 90 days before my expiry date of removal conditional of permanent resident. The question is " Can I still travel overseas after my submission of my paper work to USCIS because my green card expiry date was on 19th Nov 2015?" My husband and I planning to take our kids to go for a week on a cruise overseas trip to Mexico this year and we have not decided on which month yet due to my husband working schedule as he is worked offshore.

    Thank You

You should be able to travel even with the expired card. so long as you send in your paper work for removal of condition, and they send you an extension letter, you will be okay. its only the card that is expiring...not your status.
