My green card arrived today.. That was a speedy trip from the east. Didn't think I'd see it until next week. No more dealing with USCIS for a long while, and I'm grateful for that.

Wait until the 7th month I think that by then CSC will have probably cleared out October cases, they really work with the speed of light compared to VSC:)

Also, I never know how they don't know if the biometrics weren't good. I know when they did mine the guy kept repeating: "Perfect fingerprint, perfect fingerprint...let's do this one again until it is perfect" Me and him laughed the whole time LOL

Or. It is also possible that they are ALL on vacation even when they are actually at work physically. :-)

I do not know how thats going to help us. I guess you are thinking that while VSC is still working on remaining sept and october, CSC will start working on Nov. I know someone filed at VSC in Sept and got an RFE in march. That person has not heard back from them yet.

I won't really hire a lawyer on the first RFE, if there is a second one or an interview and you guys are worried you should get a lawyer. but if they RFE me I am about to send them so much paperwork, they will need like a month to process it LOL

Okay I've double checked with a few people on here BUT after breaking down again today with my husband, I want to double check my evidence list with you guys so I can finally get this package sent off on Monday. We're doing the wills on Monday which is why I am waiting until then to mail. He truly feels that we will be just fine and that I'm overly stressed out. I wanted to include another affidavit of marriage by my husband's best friend but I'm unsure if I should just get him to scan and email me a copy of it as I wasn't going to worry about him or the other affidavit being notarized.

Any other utility bills? Cover one per quarter for the entire period. Insurance cards for the entire period since they renew every six months or so i think.

If I were you I would wait until the 7th month mark and maybe a week or two more and then definitely call.

Hopefully we start hearing soon of steady Oct approvals, but looking at how slow Sept approvals from VSC went by, I would say by June they will still be processing October for sure, which is really sad:(

I was talking to someone who filed in Sept. Got an RFE in March. No response yet.

Looks like they've just started on October VSC'ers, so hopefully that's a good sign for November VSC'ers.

Just got notified that my card has been shipped.. Looking forward to having it in my hands. This process requires so much hurry up and waiting.

Zentaco: Looks like you and me have a very similar time frame for adjustment of status, interview date and even removal of condition filing date. But my ROC is filed in vermont. :-)

i can not believe that there is almost 60 percent approved in CSC but zero in VSC. vsc has not even started october.

Card ordered for production! Yay! Sorry I don't have the dates for everything. If anyone's curious, I mailed ROC on October 31, USCIS received it on November 3, and I -think- I did biometrics on December 4.

Which service center did you mail to? Vermont or California?

By far I cannot even imagine the disappointment you are feeling right now. I bet it is because the amount of time you guys have been waiting is beyond long and also the other option which is quite possible is they simply lost your paperwork. They see you on their screen as submitted but incomplete, they cannot find any of the paperwork you sent them and now they send you an RFE. I seriously think they lose paperwork. I wish there was a way to prove their negligence towards our packages.

Be nice enough and send them the package again, send as many things as you can and politely attach a cover letter.

In the boat that we are nothing left for us to do but sit around, wait and provide them with whatever they need.

Ok so this is what happened, I boarded a plane to Mexico the 13th took my extension letter with my expired GC and my passport, I stayed there 7 days. I had no problem getting back. I get back yesterday check the mail and lo and behold an RFE!! I mean seriously? we have a child together, sent photos of her birth and of us along with the birth certificate and documents of rental contract/bank statements. What else do they need? I think this is just a way to excuse the ridiculous amount of time they're taking to process these cases...I mean what else can I send for proof? Ridiculous!!

Gaby: Can you please tell us what the letter say? What are they requesting? This will be helpful. Sorry about this delayed RFE.

Yeap, especially with having in mind that Spring Break for Vermont schools is this week. I am not expecting any to maybe minimal approvals for this week from VSC. Also when they come back next week and realize how behind they are I hope they start transferring.

Meanwhile, keeping our fingers crossed:)

Looks like CSC is moving at a good pace. Where as VSC is taking a nap. :-).

Plam: Your prediction about moving some files from VSC to CSC may be right. They are adjudicating in five months and vsc in 7 plus mo.

this feb. when I entered the country...they stamped 'new LPR' admitted. eventhough my CR is outstanding with removal filed. I had obtained a I 551 stamp since my CR card had expired.

Does any one know why they would stamp LPR?

I know my close friend from KY(same state as me) had contacted our congressman(that was a year ago) after almost 8 month of waiting on a Fri, they e-mailed her back on Mon saying that they have resolved the issue and her card is being shipped out today express mail and should have it in her hands by Wed. Wed afternoon she had her GC, so I know for a fact that helps, it depends whether your congressman is willing to put the work into it:) hopefully none of us has to go down this way, like the headaches from all that wait are not enough:(

I had spoken to my attorney last week. She told me to leave this thing alone. Because these are not priority cases they take their time to approve. Burden is on them to prove that its not a Bonafide marriage. We gave them ALL information that they have requested.

Hahaha, I might if we get to that step. He is really hard to stop when he gets angry LOL. He goes into so much detail and it is hard to argue his point, so I am not worried if it gets to that:).

I think I have the answer to my question from reading the archives but I just want to make sure.

Date of expiration on GC is 9/27/15, according to USCIS calculator I can file to remove conditions on 6/29/2015 (do you concur?). Mother is here on a visitors visa and I would like to personally take her back home so I can use the opportunities to take care of some incidentals over there. Her visa expires on 9/15/2015 so she must leave the USA at least a week before then (my own personal schedule).

If I mail the RC package on 6/30/2015, what says yee about timelines? Do you think I can get the renewal done before September? I know that they will issue a one year extension but what if I'm out of country when appointments are set? I read the BIOMetrics appointments happens pretty fast (so maybe July or early August?) but the kicker is what if they call for an interview while I am out of country?

Oh yes the answer I gave myself was to stay put till this is all done and instead send Mother off with good wishes.

Mail the package on June 30th. YOu will get your one year extension in a month or so as a max. Once you get your extension, go by your local USCIS office and get an I 551 stamp in your passport.

I am waiting 7 month and 2 weeks (I believe that is enough time for them )and calling them on the day if they don't let me submit a service request that very same day I will have my husband write an e-mail to our congressman(since he writes nice stuff ). If they let me submit the request they have a month to figure it out, after that e-mailing our congressman. Either way this will be close to the 9 months mark, so they better have their "#######" together until then. If meanwhile I get transferred it will be: "Thanks the lord" LOL. But at this point nothing out there that we can do, which sucks.

Plamjordan11. Are you sure its 7 months for you? You filed on October 30th. That means end of April would be your six months. Or do you mean, 5 months two weeks for you. Correct me if i am wrong.

Guys, Dont make fun of them. :-). Its cold up there in VT. thats why they need coffee. Actually they are just testing our patience. They are checking to see which one of us buckles first and call them. Its lonely up there. :-)

Oh no way they manage to get to Nov by June. I am looking into late July to early August. The other option to me is starting to transfer beginning this week, since we will be hitting our 6 month mark and they have no chance of catching up. Either way, at this point I prefer to get transferred. At least I know CSC will get working on our cases as to VSC and their timeline no guarantees for anything. My friend go transferred a week after her 6th month mark, so I hope the same thing happens to me:)

I wish all of us, waiting souls, to get approved within the next 3 months:)

We may have send donuts and coffee to VSC to get them motivated.

All of us at VSC, looks like we will get ours in June. :-). not before that.
