Jackei got a reaction from onedaycloser in I-751 February 2017 Filers, Part II
Hello everyone, I just got my approval letter from USCIS. That was the only thing that I didn't expect it at all. FYI, I submitted my docs on 23 Feb. 2017. about Feb. 2018, my status changed to, " your case have moved to local office on 5 March. Any time, I checked my case, it said, we are preparing your doc. to assigned officer, and still it's the same message.
I hope everyone else gets approve and can take a relief breath.... Thanks for all your help and giving hopes in all of this process especially Shell.
Now, do u think I go to apply for Citizenship or waiting for my GC and then?

If you file for the first time, then you need to include passport, I-94, visa, etc.If you renew, then you dont need passport or visa. I-765 instruction says if you are C9 category, then I-94 is not required. However, it would not hurt if you include it.

You can do it yourself, hopefully your lawyer hasn't got you under contract for renewal. They can charge for AOS, but that doesn't necessarily mean they have an extension/permission to fill in a new renewal of EAD/AP nor charge you. I doubt they are contracted for that, but I would read through the small print and see what it says regarding this matter.

you need to file I-765 and I-131 within 120 days from expiration date. I suggest you do it yourself so that it wont cost you a cent and it is not too hard for those forms. You can look the guidelines on example forms tab, but you need to modify a bit because you are now filing the renewal instead of first time. The documents go with it are:2 passport size photos
photocopy of front and back EAD
photocopy of I-485
If you file both I-765 and I-131, then you need to send the same documents as stating above for both forms. You will send it to Chicago lockbox if you are C9 category which you are:
USCIS Chicago Lockbox
For U.S. Postal Service:
USCIS
P.O. Box 805887
Chicago, IL 60680-4120
For Express mail and courier deliveries:

Chicago, IL 60603-5517

I'm out of town at the moment so I don't have a copy of the cover letter I sent. But I did send completed EAD form, AP form, copy of NOA for AOS, copy of front and back of my current EAD/AP card and a cover letter. I don't remember what else I sent. I won't be home for a few more days, hopefully someone else will be able to let you know everything that you'll need to send.

Your timeline prediction is based on everybody with a VJ timeline...not just a few people you might check. It averages people based on how it went for all others just before you applying for the same thing. It is predicting yours should be approved in the next week or so. It won't even be considered late until mid November. Sounds like you are worrying just a little too soon.Your timeline > Based on timeline data, your AP may be adjudicated between October 14, 2014 and October 20, 2014*.
