Its been almost 3 months and you still dont have the visa? Obviously you were put on the AP that is very different from the AP after approval. What I mean by that is that in most cases once approved the person gets the visa in a short period of time, but when months have gone by and you still haven't received your visa it could mean that immigration received a hit which prompted them to put you on AP. NOW, This does not mean that you wont receive your visa (specially in your case which I think you should be receiving it any day now) but there must have been a flag or a reason why. Would you ever know? Maybe yes, but sometimes it can be a just because situation. ..have you inquired about why it's taking so long? Do you have an idea of why you were put on the dreadful AP?

Listen young, smart man, just the mere fact that she proposed to you at one point to get in a sham marriage is definitely a red flag. I think that you made a wise/executive decision in ending the relationship. Going by what you posted it is evident that the young lady is somewhat of a opportunist. Now I'm not sure if I'm answering all of your questions but point blank period, judging from what I've read, yes I do believe she is out to get a green card. Once again congratulations on getting out of dodge. Just my opinion people.

I understand that tourist visa are for visiting but my point is that their will be no separation becasuse the wife and kids will be able to travel back and forth since they have a visa, heck, i wish that my husband wouldve had a tourist visa, i wouldnt feel the weight of the wait if he was able to travel back and forth with me to the states. Bottom line is, we are on this sight to uplift and see every way in which we can help make the JOURNEY easier for one another. Its true that many families do have to separate because of this process but lets not forget that separating is a CHOICE and not an obligation.

Hi, i´ll tell you my husbands experience.
He paid around 290 us for the medical, he went two weeks prior to the interview and brung the interview letter, passport, 5 photos, cedula and no cellphone.
for the vac apptmnt you can schedule that online for her and she would have to bring interview letter, passport, ds260 or 160 confirmation, cedula,no money required.
It´s best if she does the medical and vac the same day, medical in the morning, she should be there by 6am the latest and vac 3pm. I think your all set.

If your son is a US citizen, then he is entitled to receive Medicaid.
You are not getting a denial on a new F1 because your son received Medicaid. You are getting a denial because a US citizen son makes it less likely that you don't have the intent to immigrate. Your ties to the US are now stronger than before.
It also is suspicious to some that you entered the US in Jan. 2010 and then had a baby in May 2010. Seems like you came to the US to give birth to have a US citizen child. Not too many women choose to come to the US alone on a student visa when they are pregnant. Most would probably not go the US so they can give birth in their home country surrounded by family rather than alone in the US.
