  1. I marked it as not available. Had no issues. The interview letter did say to bring it but NVC said it isn't needed. My husbands interview is in a couple of weeks, will find out for sure.

Also, since you're deciding to get it.. Make sure the pictures are with a white background. I've noticed people got the certificate with blue background pictures and they were not accepted. Even though it's not required, some people do take it to the interview.

  2. Hey

did any of you get away with not including a police certificate in ur IV package? Im really confused. I have read it on the official website but i thought why not just add it in there. But its taking alot of time! and this is the only thing that is holding me from submitting my documents :/

It's not required. I didn't include it and I even called and asked and I was not it's not needed.

  3. Haven't checked this thread in a while. Mashallah, great to see so many approvals. Mubarak to everyone.

Just got case complete over the weekend. Waiting for the interview date now. Quick question though, I heard they ask for the police report even though they never did at NVC. So did any of you still bring one?

I didn't receive my interview letter yet ( I am expecting my interview at start of June my scan date is 11th march 2015 ),but I have my Case no .Today I called to Hospital ( Hill park general hospital ) and talked to assistant of Dr naeem ul haque , he said if you have case no so its better to take medical examination , because almost 15 to 20 days will require for test result .and this result is applicable for 6 months

and In Nvc website for medical Preparation , there is following statement

As examination expires after a period of time, applicants are recommended to schedule their medical examinations no more than 4 weeks prior to the date of the visa interview. Reports generally take approximately one week to prepare

So what will I do ,either it will better to complete my medical examination by next week ? i am little bit confuse

I personally don't think you should get medical done until you get your interview letter. It doesn't take 20 days to get your medical package. So just wait.

  4. I received a case complete with a second checklist last Wednesday. I have to take an amended I-864a to interview with me.

I'm not sure why, it was 100% correct and they never picked up on it the first time around.

I'm in the same boat. First checklist, I had the figure wrong. Second checklist with the case complete says to have my husband bring the updated forms with him to the interview. I confirmed with three operators about the figure before I sent it back to NVC. I don't understand this second checklist because the number is exactly as it appears on 1040. So frustrating.

When is your interview? Can you please update us regarding this particular issue?

    Thanks so much!

  5. Hi all,

Over the weekend I got an email from NVC with a checklist that said to send the stuff to the beneficiary to bring to his interview.

Just got off the phone with NVC, been told it's case complete from here and the next email Will be the interview date.

I'm super excited! Thank you all so much for all the help you guys have provided and for the moral support.

Will let you know once interview is setup. It will be for Islamabad, Pakistan embassy.

  6. Hi all,

So I got a checklist for my dad's affidavit of support form (864a).

I called NVC to confirm if I was making the right correction. I got three different answers from three different people.

Can someone please tell me what I'm supposed to put for question number 10? It says "My current annual individual income" is it what my dad made individually last year or what he hopes to make this year?

Part 11, obviously would be the total income my parents had on line 22 of 1040 since they're joint Filers. Correct?

I'd greatly appreciate if someone can guide me. Really don't want to get another RFE.

    Thank you!!

  7. Hello,

So I just received a checklist and I'm very Confused. It lists my father's name with I864 even though he's my second sponsor and I had filled out 864A for him.

It says I need to fill out country of domicile in part 4, item 5. Which doesn't exist on 864A. So I'm assuming they want me to fill it out for my mom, for whom I had filled out I864. I didn't know it couldn't be left blank considering all her income, current address, etc is of US. isnt it common sense that it would be her country of domicile?

Again it says in part 6, item 13.a, "You must include your 2013 tax and income information." which I had. I don't understand why they didn't see that??

Is it possible that this checklist has come in error? I've been calling NVC for last hr, I keep getting an automatic machine that says they're busy and to try again later.

Can anyone give any pointers? Thanks!

  8. Oh? I thought you said your passport had been dispatched? http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/524985-please-help-petitionars-email-hacked-and-sent-scam-email-to-visa-farud-section-in-islamabad/?p=7366907

BTW, the State Department apparently monitors VJ and other immigration forums. Straightforward for them to tell who you are based on the interview time/location you've posted here so many times, not to mention other means at their disposal. Perhaps the lovely things your apparently estranged wife had to say about you here on VJ might have something to do with your upcoming denial:

I really don't think you should be the judge of what his decision will be. And whatever the issue maybe between him and his wife should be left at that. He asked a question, just answer.. Or don't reply at all.
