    thank u sir hank :)

Most don't, they are done online with electronic signature.

so the embassy wont mind the no signature ?

  8. And that is why this thread it titled STUCK @ NVC for AP Part II. It's for people on K1's who get yanked out of the queue for extra scrutiny. It can take up to a couple of months. There was a Stuck thread Part 1 which has lots of info on this as well.

As I've told gemspace, here and in PM's, we were in AP at NVC for the same length of time on our K1. A lot of people think K1's just breeze right through NVC, and that is where the confusion and worry sets in. It doesn't always happen that way.

Excellent! I did say it would happen! On to the next bit! :dancing: :joy: (F)

i am glad we are out of ap anymore.. thanks to all.. stress free :)

    thank u cdneh :)

  9. The receipt we received does have the receipt number, WAC-14-***-*****, and a 10 digit number beginning with A in the beneficiary box with her name on the I-797 Notice of Action receipt. I believe this is known as the "A" number and is assigned to the beneficiary as a permanent alien registration number. If that is her case number I'm not sure but I know all immigrants get one of these.

    Jim

thats your receipt number you received from uscis.. thats what u used to.check at uscis website...u will get your case number from the nvc and it will start from MNL1234567890

  10. wonderful to hear! This process is hard but, we can do it!

thanks E-N and yes we can!! ;)

hello everyone new user here just wanted to see if I can get some help I got my approval I-797 noa on October 23 and have yet to get anything from nvc not even a case number.I called nvc today and they said nothing shows on there computer about any information about my case and that's all they said to try an email my notice to them.So I called uscis and they said its been forwarded to nvc already anyone else have this proble its been over a month and they don't have any info about my case?

your still in the normal process.. some get their mcn after 2 months from approval.. just keep calling nvc..

  11. Our application was sent to NVC on October 16. The I-797 says if you do not receive any correspondence from NVC within 30 days, you may contact the NVC by email at NVCINQUIRY@state.gov. I've sent three emails to that address and one to an additional email I learned of here on Visajourney. No replies to any of the emails..

I've tried their phone number. It's always busy.. except this morning around 9:30 a.m. when it was answered with a recorded message that said the information was not available.

Absolutely pathetc! I've been through this process before and all was smooth sailing....

Very disappointed! According to what I've read here there must be some additional processing....

yes.. its frustrating they didnt even replied our email ..we email them 1 month ago.. today is our 2 months.. unbelievable .. anyway u dont have a case number yet?
