Since your timeline isn't filled out, I want to ask
1.) Do you already have your MNL number or are you waiting for NVC to receive the case from USCIS?
2.) Have you called NVC to ask if your case has been shipped to the Philippines?
3.) Did you try asking NVC if your case is in A.P.?
Because there is no way it would take 7 weeks for NVC to send them out. Mine took 17 days and I thought that was long.
It would really help us a lot if you fill out your timeline so we know which step you are actually on.
my case was received in nvc october 8 and when we called nvc they told us we are under ap.. a nice gentlemen once answer my fiance call last week and he talked to a supervisor for our case...and he told my fiance they start processing our case october 23 and after 20 business days we will send our papers to my embassy but the 20 business days passed but upon checking our case tbrough ceac its still says at nvc..
-
i am under k-1 but nvc didnt send our case to manila embassy yet.. we cant move forward because of this.. possible reasons why they hold up case.. and how long is the longest waiting for this case??
-
I'm confused why a K1 visa is taking so long at the NVC. It may be background checks an issue there. Usually additional names checks are
done at the NVV, cross checks I call it. I hope some lights she's soon
me too...hoping this waiting game end.. i thought uscis are the one do the checks but i was wrong.. i want to know when is the longest waiting at nvc stage for k-1 cause 2 months stuck there is already long time.. this is so frustrating..
-
we are on the 8 weeks next week and our papers still at nvc.. i am feeling hopeless now..
-
send it to Manila USEM? .. okay, good luck, update us about your case when something change! I hope you get it real soon!
yes..thats what they said but today they just said its not moving forward..
-
I agree with Hank, I think you should keep checking your status online to see if there is any change, and keep calling them to have an update.
yeah...i kept checking it daily.. last week the agent talked to a supervisor for our case ad told us they will send it after 20 business days starting 23rd of october.. and its 20 business days today.. hope it changed next week.. thanks elle and kyle

i would wait until Monday as stated above. best wishes

ok cdneh..thank u.. is this a normal.process when we are out of ap?
Give them until Monday, and have him call them again.
is this a bad news...my fiance told me its like they dont have a plan to send it cause they said its not moving forward..
-
No idea what they mean, check the CEAC website for status changes
it still says at nvc sir hank.. are they just going to put our case at nvc for a long time.. i am hopeless now.. its been 6 weeks there now

.but mine still the same.. this is crazy..
yes you can pay your visa fee now and sched an appointment ..

Yea! We were expecting that too. We know that there is a waiting at NVC, but we were not expecting it could take that long. Its making me feel nervous and a bit frustrated.
upon looking your timeline u only waited a short time for the approval.. congrats on that.. yeah its like we are waiting for noa2 again this time. hehe.. what i always do is check my status every day and hoping it will change.. but for now its stuck at nvc .. i hate that.. i want to see is in transit.. hehe
-
I did! When we check our status online, it says "At NVC" and wait for instructions or if we didn't get any to click the link under it.. When we checked it , it lead us to a page saying "Notice" and an explanation of how busy they are right now at NVC processing approved cases. I think its just their way of telling us to just wait. lol.
haha..yes..thats all we can do for now is to wait.. i was expecting the same too like if we got our case number its rock and roll time but i dont know there is additional waiting at nvc stage.. woohh

I don't see it as a problem that you father is listed on the forms, if the COs asks be honest... I see no issue there.

ohh.. thank u.. i really hope that case doesnt put as on ap at nvc.. i hope there is no issue or a serious reason why we put on ap..
-
have u read the reason about ap at nvc..thats so frustrating and so unfair cause its a random check.. but the average waiting is 50 days so lets hope we will ge out from this ap stage less than that
will update what will happen soon and when we will get out from this..
salamat din
-
yes we cant schedule it yet cause what if our date in interview is coming really close and our case is still at nvc then we need to reschedule it again and we can only rescedule twice..so all we can do now is wait and wait.. this is sucks i know and very stressful but we dont have power over it..what we can do is to pray. in Jesus name..
-
that is what i found out so it is a random check.. i guess we that is in ap stage got unlucky cause our case got chosen..

Administrative Processing at NVC
The NVC has a process of randomly pulling a certain, unknown number of "K" visa petitions for further administrative processing. It is unknown what exactly takes place during this process. As it is in AP post interview. It may be background/name checks and/or document verification. Some CSR's at NVC have said that they are "verifying documents". But the most common answer will be that "There is no timeframe for the process". There actually is a very predictable timeframe based on VJers experience that has been shared since December 2008. The average time that a case is held during this AP is around 50 days, give or take a day or so. You can call at least once a week to ask if your file has been released out of AP and forwarded to the consulate. Most petitioners that are pulled for random AP DO receive a standard letter from NVC stating that their file will be forwarded to the embassy "within a week", this is a standard letter which is mailed out whether one is in AP or not. If you find that your case has been held at NVC for longer than a week or so; it is advisable to call and ask directly if your file is in AP.

So it won't be a problem that my fathers name is put on form g325a even he is not listed in my birth certificate.. ? I was born when my parents didn't married yet..but they are married now.

I don't have a problem with my name in all my documents cause I use the same like passport nbi cenomar etc..just my fathers name cause my fiancé should leave it blank in the form g-325a as he is not listed in my birth certificate..I hope that won't cause me a problem..
-
For example my name in bith cert. is Gemma sison and we put the same in filing..but my fiancé put my fathers name when the form ask my father complete name.. But my father is not in my birth certificate as I don't use his surname .,I use my mothers maiden name instead.. So my mothers maiden name is sison
-
hello hank.. my case is i used my mothers maiden name..cause my father is not listed in my birth certificate ..but my fiance put my fathers name in the form to send to uscis.. now my case is already at nvc but we are put ap at nvc.. is that a big problem ? is that cause a denial? we are under k-1
7 weeks already and case still stuck at nvc
