Got approved today . Oath ceremony next week 

Interview that was scheduled just showed the N400. I almost didnt go thinking i wouldn't need to appear for that. Figured I;d go just for support. Glad i did go because it ended up being the joint i-751, thus i needed to be there.Interviewer said the i-751 has to be adjudicated before the N400 interview.  
 
For us the i-751interview was pretty simple lasted bout 10 minutes. Interviewer did ask us to separate and not hold hands and such because often times he said people use that as clues to answers they are suppose to give. Interviewer brought us both in, asked us a couple questions as to if anything changed and anything new you'd like to add. Other than that nothing at all for the i751. Commented on how he was impressed on the amount of evidence we sent in, how organized it was and said Congrats your approved. instructed me to leave (walked me out to lobby and thanked me) so my husband could do the N400 interview.
 
My husband said N400 was simple (again about 10 minutes long , if that) didnt ask nothing more on life questions, only the civil questions which he past the first 6 so they stopped (first two he had to write the answer for the writing test part). Officer told him Congrats, he was approved and he'd be in line for Oath, That was it.  
Got 10 year green card literally about 6 days after the interview. Didnt figure we'd get one since the N400 was approved and waiting inline for Oath but apparently you still get a green card to turn in at Naturalization Ceremony.  

Officially DONE! My husband is now a U.S. Citizen. Good morning guys so I just got back from my interview I 751 and N400 interview. It was scheduled for 7:15am at Jacksonville Florida.  We got there at 6:30 . We checked in at 7:05 the nice gentleman came in at exact 7:25 and I asked him if he want me to come in only or with my wife. He said just you sir . He placed me on a oath immediately we walked to his office and said we finna work through my I 751 before we proceed . I said ok he asked if anything change since I filed and jokingly asked are you still with your wife and I said yes he said to obvious cos she waiting at the waiting room. He asked for our recent lease . Any other documents and I gave him 6 more affidavit of support he said oh really all this for me . I said yes and I even got bank statements and other insurance we just got . He said all I need is the affidavit and the lease with 2016 Tax I have him 2017 Tax and he said we are good to go. Then to N400 we went through the questions together and he asked me to read when is Columbus Day and also write the answer down he ticked the Pass mark. After that we started the civic test.

2.we elect a U.S senator for how many years 
3.Name one branch or part of the government 
4.How many amendments does the constitution have
5. What did the Declaration of Independence do
6.How many justices are on the supreme court
i answered correctly and he said congratulations you have demonstrated knowledge of the civic test . And jokingly asked if I will have the chance to come in for oath ceremony next week Friday I said yes yes yes and he laughed. Got scheduled for oath ceremony on the 20th of July. Thanks so much . I only recieve the n400 interview notice as well and my wife already called out of work so as to follow me should in case they want to ask us questions and do the i 751 interview. But with your detailed explanation I say a very big thank you cos this answered all the questions I have been surfing the Internet for . Jacksonville Office is definitely flying through stuff. Called for info pass appointment for i551stamp and even got scheduled next day, been there twice since and there is like literally no people there LOL So im thinking its a great new process!
