  1. Hey guys: I think my petition might have gone in the bath on 11/7. I just checked my USCIS site and I had a touch on 11/7. which is the day after my approval (it had said 11/6). Maybe I SHOULD call!! The "on pins and needles" patient one, Alane & Ramzis :innocent::innocent:

I think I would call and find out if they sent yours out Alane. When USCIS sent out petitions on Nov.1 to NVC, I got touched but when I called, they told me my file was still in the staging area. No one could tell me why I got touched. Hopefully they sent yours. Good luck!!

  2. hi everyone! we just got our NVC case number today - MNL2007XXXXXX. i think, uscis sent it last nov 1 to NVC and NVC got it on Nov 8.

just be patient and we will all have our cases sent to NVC.

    God bless us all!

    I am so happy!!! :dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:

We got it to NVC too!!!!! On the same day!!! My recommendation is to call right after 6 PM Eastern time. Absolutely different treatment. No rush to get rid of callers giving them BS info. The rep was so nice , answered all my questions. I am very happy today again

Congratulations to all who got movement lately!!!!

Congratulations to all of you who are now at NVC! How did you find out when your case was actually SENT to the NVC? I've called CSC and they have told me that they send them out immediately after approval and show no records of sent dates. This seems contradictory with those of you who say that they are staying at CSC and then being sent weeks later, so basically sitting on a shelf again. I've called NVC and have been told to call back later everytime.

We had a touch everyday for 3 days after our approval on Oct. 29 but none since then. Does your online case show a touch when the case has been forwarded?

So just curious to know how those of you found out what day your case was sent from CSC to NVC.

I called CSC and asked them where my petition was at since it had been approved (Oct. 22). They told me in the beginning that it was in the staging area. I asked for a date when they sent it to that location and was told Oct.24. When I called today, they told me it had been sent to NVC. I asked for the date it had been sent and was told Nov. 6. Everytime I call, I always ask for the date an action was taken on my petition. They have always provide one to me. Good luck if you call again.

  3. checked online and a RFE was mailed yesterday.

i checked our forms and i think i know what we missed out. sigh... i cant believe we overlooked that item. we checked so many times!

    oh well....

Sorry about your RFE. Hopefully it is something you can fix quickly and then get your approval shortly

    thereafter. Good luck.

Congratulations to all those with recent approvals!!!!

  4. I think a lot of us were counting on the old USCIS timelines to have our SO's here by the holidays.

I am happy though knowing I will be with my fiancee again in January. The best part of all, is that

she will be coming back with me. As hard as it is right now, at least I am starting to see a pin hole of

light at the end of the tunnel.

Your right Byron, we all know this process could have gone faster. We have seen the people who have gotten

approvals in 30 days (must be nice), so we know it is possible. Hang in their everybody because someday this

will be just a bad memory.

  5. Thanks afterforever!!!!

Im really starting to fade with the optimism.....tonight i feel depressed because this whole thing is out of my hands and i cant do a damn thing about it....Tonight is one of those nights that it is killing me really bad...I would give anything to hear Leidy's voice or her son running around...instead all i here is this silence that seems soooo loud and torturing!!! I'm losing hope! I actually had a long time that i was patient and was taking well as each day passed but after spending the 5 days with Leidy in Panama, this is becoming something too difficult to deal with....But like i said .....i cant do anything about it.. :(

That's why I have not been back to visit my fiance in Thailand, even though I have been tempted very much to do so. The problem is that emotionally it would be extemely hard for me (and her) to leave each again, so I chose to wait until she has her interview before I go back. We both told each other that the next time I come, we will never be apart again, ever.

I wish I could give you more comfort than my words but just keep telling yourself your approval will come soon. Hang in there Byron, not only for yourself but for your fiancee also. Good luck!!

  6. Byron, yes! Do call. When was the last time you called? You too Mel and Syl.

Shoot I got lucky when I called and got an officer on the phone. Hope you do too. I say, keep bugging them!

I actually called yesterday, i got a guy that was very nice and polite...he explained that once the RFE requested returns, they put it back on a shelf until they get a bunch so that an officer starts adjudicating them... .....Im tired of calling and getting a run around or someone rude...last time , which was last Friday, i got a rude lady just wanted to know what i was calling for, i explained and then she started telling me how she had a record on her screen of how i have called for the same thing a couple of times...i told her , well of course , im still waiting for an approval..thats why....im just sick of calling that place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I do not care what they say to me anymore about all the calls I have made. It is my right to call USCIS at anytime to see what is happening with my petition. Why do they have customer service reps. if they do not expect people to call. In addition, if they would move the petitions along quicker, they would not have people calling so much.

Good luck Byron. I hope you get your approval real soon!!!

  7. Alane it would not hurt to call and find out. I agree, it would be a great bonus.

U2rsobad, I am assuming your petition is on its way also.

I am still going to be stressed until NVC confirms they got it.

    Good luck

I agree!!! CSC just sucks!!! wish they would at least be honest about things thats all!!!!! I dont understand what the point is about lying??!!! we all already know they are really slow at what they do!!!!!

    lets be real!!!

afterforever -- I dont think I'm goin to call NVC until Monday or Tuesday b/c I called on Mon and then again on Wed........ I dont want to piss 'em off...... but I have however e-mailed them and they responded to the first e-mail i sent but they have not to the second!!! Glad your case is in the pile of with mine! -------- let me know if you call them and what they say! it'll be interesting to know how quick they get the stuff entered into the system!

Yeh, I think I will call NVC back on Monday also, unless I get real antsy tomorrow.

  8. I called called USCIS and they told me that my petition also was shipped out to the NVC. I had her check the date and she said it was shipped on Nov. 6. I sure hope it gets in and out of NVC quickly. GohaRabia, it looks like we are in the same box that was shipped to NVC.

Do you know how long it takes before NVC gets it into their system??

That's great news afterforever!! Ours took 2 days (if they worked on Saturday) after they've received it to be entered into the system. It wouldn't hurt to call NVC tomorrow. Good luck!

Mr2nice, did you receive a letter from NVC stating they had sent your petition to the embassy or did you call them?

  9. Alane it would not hurt to call and find out. I agree, it would be a great bonus.

U2rsobad, I am assuming your petition is on its way also.

I am still going to be stressed until NVC confirms they got it.

    Good luck

I'm a little paranoid about the "telephone police" -----

Personally, I beleive it is my right to call and get info, so I do not worry about their comments. Besides, I am already approved.

  10. I called called USCIS and they told me that my petition also was shipped out to the NVC. I had her check the date and she said it was shipped on Nov. 6. I sure hope it gets in and out of NVC quickly. GohaRabia, it looks like we are in the same box that was shipped to NVC.

I called NVC today and they have not record of it as of yet. It was sent on Nov 6. I will try again tomorrow.

  11. just an update: i called NVC and my case STILLLLLLl has NOT arrived!!!!!!! what a bummer!!! approved on Oct 10!!!!!!!!!!

where is my case?? worreid its in some damn back room collecting dust!

I called USCIS today and was told my petition is still in the staging area to be shipped to NVC. I got a touch on Nov.1st but the customer rep. could not give me any reason as to why.

GoharRabia, I am thinking maybe your petition is still in the staging area also, along with mine and U2rsobad.

Try calling USCIS and see if they shipped yours out yet. We have already seen that USCIS does not seem to care about first in being first out.

I have been trying to call CSC all MORNING!!!! I'm on the EAST Coast....... what time does CSC start answering the calls there?? I would really like some answers as tomorrow will be 4wks from my NOA2!

I agree afterforever, our cases are in some back room chillin!!!! Wish they would pass it along! With pakistan goin the way it is, i dont think my fiancee will be coming soon!! :-( its killin me!

I have called as early as 8 AM (California time). The last few times I have called, I had to wait about 10 minutes before I was able to speak with a customer service rep. Good luck!

I got through pretty fast!!!!!! called at 8:05 AM (Cali time), probaby one of the first callers if they open the phone lines at 8AM.

Got some "GOOD" news (if you can call it that) and BAD news...

The GOOD -- CSC "says" they mailed the petition on OCT 23

The BAD -- NVC "says" yesterda Nov. 05 they have NOT received the petition!!!

I asked her if she was sure it left that day, and she said yes, not sure if there are any other questions I could ask her to verify it? I could do what others have done and call back the next day and hope a the same answer. Any helpful hints?

Question: What should I do now? (just wait?) Any helpful ideas??

    Thanks!

Just another update!!! Looks like CSC sent a shipment of I-129F's to NVC on the 6th of NOV...... they are now telling me that my case is in that bundle!!! but I then asked the lady why when I called yesterday the other lady told me it was shipped on the 23rd of OCT?? she doesn't know why she told me that because there is nothing in the system that says my case was sent on the 23rd of OCT.......... looks like that lady just lied to get me off of the phone.

Also, like we all know, they do keep a tally of everytime you call them! thats a fact! she knew i called the day before but I don't think they know exactly why you called, just that you had placed a call....... unless there is a note section...... which i'm sure there is!!!

    anyways! just fyi for everybody

I called called USCIS and they told me that my petition also was shipped out to the NVC. I had her check the date and she said it was shipped on Nov. 6. I sure hope it gets in and out of NVC quickly. GohaRabia, it looks like we are in the same box that was shipped to NVC.

  12. I'm so happy that you're over with NVC Mike! Expect a fast movement from then on! I'm very sure you'll have a Dec. interview date!

Wow, I had written off a december interview sooo long ago, that would be great (even though the airfare will be insane)

    Anyway....

:dance:Just called NVC and my petition was sent to Manila on 11-6-07!!!:dance:

Shai I believe that yours took about 7 days to make the trip to Manila. How soon after the embassy got it did you get your interview dates assigned? Did you do anything to speed the process? Is there anything I can do on the embassy website at this point?

Congratulations!!! If you have a December interview hopefully the airlines will not be all booked up, especially close to Christmas time. Good luck!!

  13. The sad thing is that even after you get your NOA2, it does not get any better. Now you have to get your petition to NVC. For some strange reason it just sits in the staging area for several weeks. I guess they are hoping it will grow wings and fly to NVC all by itself.

Hope you get your RFE taken care of ASAP Jamie. Good luck!!
