    I had heard that Manila was "testing" the e-packet system a few months ago not yet on complete rollout

    Yep.....Unless they put both immigrant documents in the same envelope.......which would still be odd, imo........

    Agree. Some embassies issue electronic packets now, but then both parents should either have electronic or both should have physical ones.

    I find it odd that only one parent has a packet.  I would immediately contact the embassy....

    I doubt that, each packet becomes a separate A-file. We had 4 separate packets when we immigrated.
    at the least, if they for some reason did that both summary sheets should be attached outside.

    1) Yes, assuming he is clear. If he has TB, he will hear back sooner and have to undergo treatment at SLEC for 6 months.
    2) I'd hold off on scheduling until the results are in personally.
