Hello everyone I received my letter today. Decision date 2/5/18

filed through VSC. 

Noa1 3/6/17

noa1 received 3/13/17

Biometrics 4/4/17

resceduled biometrics 4/19/17

HI everyone

we received our new biometrics date. Just wanted to let everyone's know our experience requesting a new date. My original date was the 4th but we were in Australia during that time so the we sent the request in on the 25th and received the new date on the 7th of April (dated 4th April). The new date is the 19th of April.

Have you got your biometrics yet? We are waiting for a reschedule because we are currently in Australia for holiday. but have a date of 4/4.

Is ASC Atlanta service centre? That's my centre I'm hoping not they are really nice.

i think they take 3 to 4 weeks to re scheduled no big deal just have it changed if u can go before that date and ask them to take u earlier

The office I submitted my i751 form was Vermont. I want to know where to send my package to request for reschedule of my biometric appointment? And what kind of envelope package should I use? Should I get a package stamped from post office so that my neighbor just mail the package easily without spending a penny.

There is a tick box at the bottom of the appointment notice that also has instructions. We are going through this same thing now. Have you received your rescheduled appointment?  What was your original date and what is your new date?

They understand that emergencies happen on the days of appointments, so there seems to be a grace period. Cases are only abandoned if attempts to reschedule aren't made.

Hello I will need to do this for my case- how long did it take to reschedule your appointment? Did they give you a new appintment that was within a month of your original appointment?

The only problem is I am away for work and won't be back in Atlanta until the 9th of April. My hubby will be sending in a request to reschedule. Does anyone know what the timelines look like to reschedule??

 

Or should I just attend the Office on the 10th with my letter and ask to have my biometrics done? That would only be 3-4 business days after it was scheduled?

Yes, our interview letter asked to bring an updated I-864 with new tax information if recent tax return is filed.

Ok well I'm pretty sure they say like don't bring bags, even to leave at front.

They'll keep a large handbag for you but not a small suitcase.

Good idea but I won't be staying at a hotel.

No, you have to leave it at security. You can only take your paperwork and that is it.

So security do keep all bags? I just want to confirm because I amconing from perth and need to carry and backpack or a least a large handbag.
