  1. so get this guys i had my congressman put in an request for an update to NVC....they got an reply last night with totally wrong info....NVC told the congressman that at 60 days i should hear something from them and then they will schedule the interview with the kenya US embassy......when my husband lives in india......they told them my last scan date is dec 18 when i have an email saying it was dec 17......this is horrible that they are this careless......i pray to god this is just some mistake in the email

This just shows yet again that NVC lacks the capacity, competency and consistency to be dealing with cases of this nature. All we can do is have faith that God will see us through In Jesus name!

  2. We typed none, in the space asking for Alien number because my husband doesn't have one yet either. I can't imagine they would give a checklist for leaving it blank, most people don't have an A number yet.

Let's just keep praying they are delayed with our papers because of the weather, and not because of a checklist. Insha'Allah, all will be okay.

Thank you! Will definitely keep praying for all of us! CC's soon by Gods Grace! Amen!

  3. Hello I love your story and of course God have his hand in your case as he does for everyone else but I think it's inportant for others for you to provide correct infor. Your scan date is the day NVC received your IV package or AOS package which is last. Not your DS260. Your timeline says you sent it 12/08 do roughly if NVC received and had your scan date as a few days after that then you got your CC at around 60 days! Given how hard it is to get through NVC It is a great testimony to God and a show of faith that you have it all to him and you did get CC! CONGRATS!

  4. Nope! We did not. This was a miracle from God that we prayed for, and believed that God would answer. All we did was to make sure that the documents were done up properly. We would re-read and double check VJ for similarities, then submit the documents. However, on Sunday, January 4, 2015, I prayed to God and told Him that I believed that He can cut down our review time, and so I am asking Him for 30 days. Both my husband and I tried to call NVC a couple times, but neither of us got any response. I read the horror stories with the NVC on here, and we decided that we would not want any of that, so we prayed about the process daily.

I know that it was not for God to give us an early CC, so after we asked, every day we just focussed on "thanking" Him for the answer..,and we got it. The Bible says faith can move mountains, and we believed. We have had no problems with this process, and will continue to pray until this journey is ended.

Rather than worrying about the issues, just pray and believe.

  5. It's fine, not all beneficiaries get an A number assigned at USCIS. You'll get yours assigned after an approved interview and it'll appear on your visa (and then on your green card after you do POE).

    Hi Saylin

We left my Alien number blank on the AOS form since I don't have one? Is this ok? Welcome response from anyone.

My husband the beneficiary didnt get an A number either.. everything is fine :)
