My son's AP arrived this morning, still no word on my EAD/AP since approval May 11th. Sigh.

My son's AP changed to "your AP document was produced", nothing on my EAD/AP. I swear I have more grey hair from this process.

Please send some positive thoughts for me today! I have my green card AOS interview in a couple hours!

Day 75,ead approved 3 weeks ago, still no card or update. Called USCIS, waiting for a tier 2 call back now. Fingers crossed they have an update for me.

They called back... Card is in production so the tier 2 op said. She said if I don't have it by the 7th of June to call back.

EAD was approved may 11th...yet another empty mail box today, so disheartening.

Yep, my hayfever and sinus problems have gotten worse. My son's have gotten better though, which is confusing.

They have a little old man who sits behind a messy desk on floor 3 of a large municipal building (location is kept secret for obvious reasons) who spends his days etching the details for each applicant into small pieces of laminate.

That might be the reason it's so slow.... I think.

And he's on his summer vacation right now

On Place of entry, Abu Dhabi is correct. I entered through Dublin Ireland, it also has a preclearance. I put Dublin on my form and did not get an Rfe.

My EAD/AP approval notices arrived in the mail this morning, hopefully it won't take too long to receive the card. Fingers crossed.

I got that notice too, but only for my AP, my EAD still says approved and AOS IS "Ready to schedule interview". I can't find any info anywhere so I suppose we'll just have to wait for the appointment letter and see what it says. I just hope it doesn't delay my EAD as I really need to start working.

The case tracker is temporarily down, for maintenance, I guess...

Question:

I've noticed that most cases here are adjusting from K1 visas. I was wondering if anyone would be able to inform me if there is any difference between adjudicating a K1 visa and a Visa Waiver Program overstay?

Is there any possibility that the interview might be waived for a VWP overstay (parent of USC)?

Also, do these AOS of VWP overstay cases take longer than a K1 for instance to adjudicate?

A wvp overstay will definitely interview. It doesn't take any longer as far as I can see. Look at my time line. (although I did have an approved i130 before sending in the Aos paperwork).

Yesterday I got notification of Advance Parole approval then today I get the attached notice. I also got approval for my EAD but no notice for further processing on that one. What does further processing mean and why would I need to go in for an appointment. I can't find any info anywhere.

Edit... Won't attach. It requests I come into the the USCIS office for further processing and they have mailed out an appointment.

Just got this notification for AP, anyone have any idea what it means? What further info could they require for AP?

Day 41 here, and so far no updates on the tracker since case received....I swear I'm probably going to be one of those people who doesn't get a single update before case approved!! (Even though I am checking it 5000 times a day! lol) Getting super impatient about the EAD, though! How is everyone else doing?

Day 53 since case received, no update on the tracker either. Really need the EAD, Ive a job waiting and I really need to work, for sanity sake, ha!

Got my notice to bring i-693 to interview, I hadn't sent it with the application. I'm so happy we didn't get an Rfe for it. Please God my Ead isn't far off, I need to work.

Biometrics went smoothly, St Paul office let me have a walk in (my apt was for tomorrow) as my son's appointment was today, so we did it together. officious folks but friendly, the lady doing mine asked me all about Ireland.
