  1. 5 HOURS after my husband was supposed to have his interview, they finally called him in. He sat in the embassy all this time! By the time he called me, I was a nervous wreck and was googling home remedies for nausea caused by anxiety!

When he called, he told me he was kept waiting all that time and had just got his phone and was able to call.....then our call cut and it took 15 minutes to get back in touch! I was FREAKING OUT because I still didn't know the results!.......Finally I have learned that we are...........

    APPROVED!!!!!!!!

This is a miracle for us, on account of the FBI thing. When someone (which I'm sure was family members of mine!) filed a FALSE FBI report that my husband is a terrorist (they are against me marrying a Muslim), a full blown FBI and NSA investigation was launched. When I was interviewed by an FBI agent in late September, he told me not to expect my husband to be able to come to the USA for a very long time, because they would have to make quite sure the report was truly false before he could be approved. Since then I have been in such major PRAYER to break this stronghold that was quite effectively put up to keep us apart! GOD ANSWERS FERVENT PRAYER even in awful circumstances!

    My husband was approved today!!

    I was confident and faithful!!

But I still woke up every hour until I got that text from hubby saying I am done with the interview and I will be coming to get my visa on Tuesday at 2pm!

    Whoo!!

I have the full review on my timeline!

Congratulations to both of you really happy for you guys.

  2. Hi all,

We got approved last Friday! We had to wait a lot because the embassy in Rio was not very organized, but the interview itself was very simple. They only asked four questions:

    1. When and how I met my husband

    2. What I do for a living

    3. What my husband does for a living

    4. If I have ever met his family

My husband and daughter came to the interview with me - but the CO barely looked at him. Honestly, it felt like the decision was already made and he just asked those questions for the sake of it.

Dwheels, Sukie, you are both amazing on this thread. I would have never done so well without following this forum and your advice.

We are all very grateful (L)(F). Thank you!

Yeayyyy Congrats happy for you guys :)

  3. Sorry I'm so late, I have been extremely busy and haven't been online. I had my interview on November 5th. Our interview went pretty well, the CO asked the basic questions like, when did we get married, where do I work, my job title, at the end of all the questions she said Congratulations, but tell your wife to send a new AOS and my tax returns, and a joint sponsor, and his international passport. I was so confused about that because I really thought all my finances were in order, and NVC didn't say anything was wrong. Anyway, I quickly gathered all the documents needed and sent it off. He will drop everything off tomorrow. Hopefully this will be over soon.

    Congrats :)

  4. I guess I wasn't paying attention. I wrote in the wrong forum. Anyways, Dwheels, I want to say thank you for all your support. My husband had his interview in Kingston, Jamaica on 10/6/15 and was placed on administrative processing. On 11/2 I decided to check the status of the case and saw ISSUED. My husband and I are so excited that this visa journey is over. Anyone knows how long would it take for us to have the visa in hand? I'm so ready to purchase his ticket.

My visa got approved today and the status shows issued... Happy that all went good and we came out this process in less than 6 months... Nothin but gods grace and thank u all...

Congratulations guys :joy: Please share your interview experience with us!!!

  5. Hi vj's Visa approved at Nairobi embassy. Thanx every single member on vj for all the advise , interview was smooth no issues.

Waiting to pick up passport end of this week from DHL

    Hi everyone!

Thank you for all your support through all the information here.

I got my visa approved this afternoon! :joy:

    All glory to God!

Congrats to both of you and really happy for you guys. If you can please share your interview experience with us! Thank you.

  6. This happens once your case gets ready for interview. The "01" means that this particular case is for the "01" person (i.e. the first person covered under this case). If there were multiple people under the case, then there would be an 02, 03, etc (like for parents or children). CLM is the code for your Embassy/Consulate.

No worries! You are on your way!

    Sukie in NY

Thank you so much for the information :)

  7. My visa arrived earlier today!

It was so fast. We are trying to pay the imigrant fee but the site is so heavy it would not let us:(

I'm leaving for the states in a week or so. So excited!

Congrats to all of those who got approved, CC or interview dates!

    Congrats

    Visa issued today :)

    Congrats

My wife called me this morning to say that her visa was approved! Finally we can breath a sigh of relief. All praise goes to God!

    Congrats

Really happy for you guys :)

  8. I am pleased to say that I was approved at my interview in Montreal last Monday (September 30th) and received my passport from Loomis on Wednesday, September 30th for my IR-1. It has been a long two year process but I only found this invaluable site in July, 2015.

I firmly believe I went to my interview as prepared as I was due to everything I read and was told here. There were two things I had not thought of but it was brought to my attention here.

Kudos to whoever started this site and to the many seasoned people who maintain it. I plan on staying here and sharing the little information I am able to as well.

    Thanks again!!

    Congrats :)

  9. Had my interview today and all approved!!!!!!! Very happy this process is over. Thank you to this wonderful community and especially the moderators for their support during this process :) much love to all of you still waiting for interviews or having one coming up soon.

Wow Congrats, If you can share your interview experience and question with others that would be helpful :)

  10. Congratulations. I have added you to the spreadsheet. Welcome to the group.

Now I couldn't say. I would say that October probably is closed. i sure wouldn't count on it but it is possible also. Its hard to say. That give s them less than a month to prepare and I know they like to schedule at least 6 weeks out.

    Thanks for the reply :)

Approved!!! My husband had his interview on the 28th, it was extremely easy. Already received the visa by mail. Thanks VJ!

Congrats I know your over the moon :joy:
