    I got an RFE for my wife's tax return and they're saying I now need a joint sponsor, waiting for my attorney to mail me the papers to get signed, and I am assuming this is holding everything up, stressed to the limit lol, I'll get right on my sig, congratulations on your case!!

    Was her income above the poverty line, or very close ?

    Hi all,

    I am all done with my package. However, my husband could only got the last 6 paystubs , so three months only. His company would not issue them. But he has one from December, saying year to end.. should I just include the last three month ?

    My second question is .. he changed job twice this last three month (he wasn't happy). His jobs are High paid, so money is not the issue, but the paystub are coming from two different companies, does that matter ?

    Last question... his marital status on his paystubs is single, because he didn't change it. Does that matter also?

    I'm thinking I just submit the letter of employer and tax return and no paystub because the paystubs makes it complicated , let me know your thought and thanks for your help

    This is my checklist :

    I-130 Petition For Alien Relative

    • Copy of US Citizen’s passport

    • Copy of beneficiary’s passport (ID page, F-1 Visa, I-94) (No need to put your birth certificate just your passport copy)

    • Copy of marriage certificate ( no need to be certified)

    • G325A signed by US Citizen

    • G325A signed by beneficiary

    • Passport photo of US Citizen (attached with a paper clip to Form I-130 and signed)

    • Passport photo of beneficiary (attached with a paper clip to Form I-130 and signed)

    • Evidence of Bona fide Marriage

    I-485 Application To Register Permanent Residence Or Adjust Status

    • Copy of Birth Certificate with English translation

    • Copy of beneficiary’s passport (ID page, F-1 Visa, I-94)

    • 2 passport photos of beneficiary (attached with a paper clip to Form I-485 and signed)

    • Form I-693 Report of Medical Examination and Vaccination Record (Completed by a Civil Surgeon sealed in an envelope)

    • G325A signed by beneficiary

    • Copy of I-20 Form

    • Form I-864 Affidavit of Support

    • Sponsor's proof of U.S. citizen status

    • Sponsor's tax return (2011-2013) and pay stubs

    1. 2013

    - W2

    - Last 6 months pay stub
    2. 2012
    -IRS tax return transcript
    3. 2011
    -IRs tax return transcript

    7. A copy of the intending immigrant's birth certificate and/or passport along with English translation. (If in any language other than English)

    That is what it says on the step by step guide on this website

    True, but sometimes VJ is not updated.

    The i130 instructions doesn't say you need to add it. just send whatever they ask for in the instructions

    If you file i 485 with i130, you will have to add those document anyway :)

    We recently got married, and he is here on an F1. Where do I start?

    My spouse only have the paystub from the last month, and not from the last 5 months, is that a big deal? The instructions doesn't say we need paystubs, but everybody's cover letter does. just seeking for some advice :)

    But he has tax return and w2's for the last three year, and letter of employment. He changed job the last month, should I include his old offer letter?
