My flight was full of children running up and down the aisles and crying babies... and still I enjoyed those 8 hours more than calling the NVC!
If I call it won't be before 5pm eastern.

We got a CC complete on phone today for package sent on Aug 6th and scanned on Aug 11th. Also the representative told that they have started scheduling the interviews but he was not sure when they started!!

I'm glad that I didn't call NVC yesterday because it turned out to be a rumor (again) that NVC had begun scheduling interviews yesterday!

Quick note for BritishInfusion - sorry it took me so long, just catching up on forums today. Regarding the DS-260, I did mean the CONFIRMATION page. They did check the paper copy outside the embassy where the were no access to computers. I did take the full version along with me, but I had spare copies of EVERYTHING we submitted regardless of electronic submission or manual.

I agree that this wait is better than getting a checklist and waiting for 60 days. It was a huge relief having case complete without a single checklist, not even a false one. I had been scared seeing so many people getting checklists, they even claimed they made no mistake. Was that a rumor about interview scheduling? I wonder if I will make it to a November interview seeing as people with case complete as far back as September 10 are waiting.

hey guys I was praying that i see some good news in this thread tonight .. guess they didnt start scheduling for interview yet .. I am just sick and tired of this whole process it seems like nvc is always slowing down when it comes to our case :'(

Hi.. I got case complete on September 22 by calling NVC. 2 days ago i called and let them know that i have not received case complete email, and the lady told me that they will send by email in 3 business day. But no email yet till now. I will wait till tomorrow tho about the case complete email. Also i asked about interview schedule and the lady told me they dont know yet.. and she said there is no timeframe to figure out when is the interview date.. but she said it all depends the embassy spot.. ( for my case Jakarta Embassy in Indonesia )
So now.. like most of you.. I'm just waiting and expecting an email from NVC pop up on my email

I think TODAY they started contacting embassies. So I guess by the end of this week/beginning of next week we will hear something. Just an opinion.

GUYS JUST GOT OFF ON THE PHONE WITH NVC .. talked to a jesus and he said they have started scheduling interview and we need to call them back in next week .. hoping to get all of us november interviews by the grace of God almighty ..

Don't believe a word they say they have blatantly lied to me on at least 4 occasions from I have AOS accepted to CC. The proof is in the pudding.
So when is the cut off date if you get CC depending on the Embassy of getting an interview day this month? I would think Sept 30 th?

Thanks again dwheels76 for clarifying that this check-up of sorts is just a best guess and a cool tool to try to see if and when the package that might be yours is sent...after an interview date is scheduled. Now if only they would just go ahead and start scheduling the tracking game could be a lot more fun!

Remember NVC sends out all kinds of packages. It's not a IR1/CR1 only DHL tracker. That's why the best way to track your stuff is to follow your case# on CEAC site.
If they have sent your package you can be sure you would have had an email telling you the interview date.
The tracking at best is a guess at "if its yours" . I have stated many times through the years I knew when my package sent exactly because I sent exactly 20 lbs of evidence with my IV package. 11 days later my package was sent to Lagos and it was 20 lbs. I called NVC and found out when they shipped I knew that was my package all the way up to the signing by Ben Obi. I don't know why they don't show weight any more but I notice it only appears when its heavy. LOL

I also did for EXP xx Sep 2014B and there're actually some shipped.

Thank you to those that phoned NVC already today! I will be phoning sometime in the next couple hours. I will post my findings.

A quick question for those of you out there and of course the lovely dwheels76: Has anyone done a DHL search recently to see if ANY cases have been shipped out from the NVC in the last week up until today? I tried for the first time just now, and it is giving me an error. I am hoping not just because there are none that have been sent, but just because I am doing it wrong. Would that give us any indication if ANYONE in the world has gotten an interview date scheduled recently, beyond the scope of the users of this thread?

I have just talked with a lady named Jean at NVC and she told me that the inteviews are being scheduled this week and the next week.
But she does not know if we (Our CC was on Sept. 15th) will get the November interview. It dépends on the capacity of each embassy.
She told me to call back in Mid October if we don't hear anything.
So anyway, it looks like they are starting scheduling the inteviews this week and next week (two weeks, she said) so some of you ( I hope all of us who already got CCs here) wil get the interviews scheduled sometime over the next two weeks.

The rep I talked to didn't know when NVC would get a request from the embassies/consulates (so NVC can start scheduling interviews).

This process has tried my patience to the very last core. I hope we all get good news by the end of the week. Keeping hope alive baby!

Agreed. And I think it was appropriate to post this here. Hopefully (how many times will I use the words hope and hopefully on these threads?!), hopefully there will be some news tomorrow. 21 days sine case complete.

Thanks for calling Austin! I am sorry to be negative guys, but I just cannot believe this #######. Every single step of the way... you get a CC and you are so happy, and then you think WOW, in just a week I should have an interview date, awesome!! And then of course it is all a lie, and as usual, just when it is your turn there is some sort of inexplicable delay out of nowhere. It does't even matter that I got a CC on Sept 11; I could've gotten a CC on September 30th and I'd be in the same freaking spot I am now. I didn't make one single mistake in this whole process, no RFEs at USCIS and no checklists at NVC so why am I still here? I am SO over all of this!!
PS, I would've put this in the rant thread, but since most people there don't have CCs yet, I figure it would be cruel to complain to them...
