As you might know I had interview on 12th and was approved. Since then the status is still Administrative Process.

But today the Status Update Date changed to today date. So does that mean something?

Yes that is normal usually a 1 or 2 day thing. Is is normal administrative things that they have to do. Then it goes into Issue. Long as the CO said you are approved nothing to worry about.

I have seen that people who had interview at Mumbai embassy gets their passport with Visa in 2 business days.

My case completed on 12/22. Was just wondering what's next and how the Mumbai consulate schedules interview and when to get the medical done. Thanks so much

They are done with January schedule. So you can start call NVC from 1st week of January for Feb Schedule. And for Medical you have to wait for P4(interview) letter, which you will be getting in email

NVC didn't recognize the Police clearance Certificate issued by High Commission of India at Singapore.

In the month of October, I have received Checklist from NVC, asking for several things including Police Clearance of Singapore and Police Clearance Certificate of India . Both of these item had detail address from where to obtain and how to obtained these certificate? I have done exactly same and obtained both the Certificate. They had approved all the papers including AOS and D-260 papers excluding PCC issued by High commission of India at Singapore and NVC slapped me with a checklist on 17th of this month saying that they don't have ( they didn't recognize the PCC of India). I called and tried to explain NVC I can't bring other paper this is what High Commission of India at Singapore issued. They understood and told me they will take 30 to 40 days from now to clarify the same. Like seriously what's my mistake in this, why don't they clarifying the paper and checking what they are looking for. Just in rush they can do anything and ruin so many days. I am attaching the same certificate which NVC had rejected, can anyone please tell me what's wrong in this. I have intentionally crop my details ( hope you guys understand).

According to my understanding to get PCC from India, you have apply in Passport office of India. They are the one who issues PCC for US Embassy.

Yes appointment was setup already.. And i found out by calling NVC on 12th Nov and later got email about it on 5th dec with Interview date.

Mine still shows 'at NVC'.

You don't need DS-260 .. just need the confirmation page for interview.. also for interview you need to submit sealed DS-260 confirmation page (at biometrics they will put seal on ds-260 confirmation page) .. keeping 2 copies is absolutely safe.. from mumbai consulate experiences if you made sufficient for 2013 they will not ask for job letter or pay stubs... Wedding album depends on the consular officer.. if you have straight forward case then supporting documents to provde bonafide marriage will not be asked... below is the order you need to arrange for the verifying officer

1. Interview letter
2. DS-260 confirmation page (sealed) with passport photos
3. Marriage certificate (copy if you already submitted original)
4. Birth Certificate (copy if you already submitted original)
5. PCC (copy if you already submitted original)
6. I-864 ((copy if you already submitted original, if you have any update I-864 with original signature)

all the rest depends on the consular officer and your case

Those who are going to mumbai for interview and biometrics kindly keep in mind that US consulate and VAC/OFC are in different locations (Both in BKC but Bandra Kurla complex is having many buildings/offices etc) so always ask for Trade center for finger print and US consulate for visa interview (Near Trident hotel/City bank etc).I have noticed that lot of ppl had issue with this bcz both the address says BKC

Interview was Monday.

All day Monday and Tuesday morning the status was Administrative Processing.

By the time they closed Tuesday, the status had changed to Issued.

If you are in delhi then you will be getting it by tomorrow..

My wife's visa status changed from "Administrative Processing" to "Issued" last night. Does anyone know how to track where the visa is at or when it reaches the Visa Application Center for pickup? Her pickup location is the same city as the embassy. Thanks.
