    Hello eosorio07, anything yet?

    Hello @Mka19 Thank you, for asking, Well the letter never arrived.  I sent an email through my USCIS account, and they answer me with an email and the requirements I need (Notarized letter from my Daughter's mother, Court documents, Cancel checks)  I received the email last Thursday , My daughter's mother sent me a letter over the weekend, notarized, I also ask my daughter which is 18 Yrs old to write a letter and I sent it on Tuesday along with Court document that states that we enter in an "friendly agreement"  My EX Corroborated that info,  also sent bank transfer that I have in my email, all those document arrive today May 9..... I also wrote a letter saying that I never received the letter that the officer told me that she was going to send....   and now I am waiting

    As soon as i have an update I let you know.....

    I'd say just be patient. The package will arrive very soon. They probably want just a detailed letter with info like you provided XX dollars per month from period A to D. I have a dependent child living abroad too and also provided a very simple letter. I'm likely to get the same response as you and I looking forward to hear what they'll ask you to provide. All the best.

    Thank you -- I will update you once the letter arrive

    Your Ex? Did they think that the marriage is not real?

    No, the letter is for my child support, my daughter is 18 and inc college, so they want to make sure I paid my child support which I did up to date that she is in College.... But like I said the officer says that USCIS will send me a letter with the guidelines, and I have not received it

    Have you gotten the letter? I think they may want the letter to show amount paid per month etc but it's better to wait for the letter first.

    I have my interview on the 15 of April, i have not gotten the letter yet -- but when I log in to my USCIS account, there's a letter that they say the sent, but is like a cover letter, does not have any guidelines

    Hello Family..

    I have my interview yesterday,  and it well because it was fast, I pass the civics question and the English, when the IO ask me question about my N-400, everything was good, she asked me how many childrens do I have I reply 2, 1 biological child and an step child. she proceed to ask me if my child support was mandatory or voluntary, which I reply voluntary ( I have a letter from my daughter's mom saying that I have been paying my daughter's child support up to date even though my daughter is 18 and is college now), she saw the letter, it was a simple letter.  She proceed with the "have you EVER" questions, until this point i had pass around 8-10 minutes.  and then she says  that I pass the civics and English test, but that I will received a letter on the mail with a guideline of how my EX have to make the letter, and  do the letter ans send it back to her and once she gets the letter she will approved my case...

    Any advise on how to do the letter?

    Did you file electronically? If so, did you upload anything else beside a birth cert or green card copy for docs?

    No I sent with USPS, and also sent copies of GC all other relevant docs

    Sometimes the status will change to "We have mailed your card" (not always) but they won't give you a tracking number. I've heard that if you call USCIS they may be able to provide you with the tracking number, but I don't know that from my own experience, so take that for what it's worth (if you have several hours/days to wait to talk to them, they might be able to help.

    It's supposed to be "green card expiry date + 11 months". But it seems like some offices are willing to give a stamp at "date on the extension letter +11 months". If you need the stamp as proof for travel, a driver's licence, a job, or whatever, I'd take the chance on the earlier date, and give them a good explanation of your reasoning. According to USCIS, the extension letter extends your proof of residence for 1 yr after your green card expires, so unless someone is refusing to accept that, you might as well wait until the later date.

    Card was mail 4-14-2017 ---->
