Hello. I was out of school for 2 years when I got married. I filed adjustment of status with just help from this site. Never had a problem. Had my interview yesterday and adjustment of status approved on the spot without as much as a question about my F-1 visa or status.

Your I-130 status online won't change until after your green card has been approved. If your EAD is in the mail then that means thy have reviewed your RFE response and have restarted on your case.

I had the same issue. I spoke to someone in HR about filling out a new I-9 and all she said was 'if you want to' so I'm gonna assume it's not a requirement. Like someone said, the I-9 proves you are eligible to work at the time you are employed and onboarded.
