Contact nvc then ask when they receive it then wait for your case #, once u have it complete your ds-160 and pay your visa in BPI then u can make your appointment interview and do your medical.

It's mean u will get your PP soon

Sitting in a cafe with my wife, drinking wine at 9.30 am because we were just approved!

Interview questions were short and easy (how we met, education, work plans, where we will live, etc). Guy was nice. Waiting for visa in hand!

My petition got approved on 16july through CSC and the case is transfer to NVC in NH. My question is, will I be notify when my case arrive at their office? And will they send out the case number? Will it be the same case number as those assigned by UCIS? Thanks

no they will not going to tell u when they receive it unless u call, and yes they will send u your case number and it will be a new one.

My visa is approved. Interview was yesterday and it went smooth and quick.

The whole process took about 45 mins, 15 mins for interview may be?..

Anyway , such a relieve and thank VJ which help us a lot with many information and help.

No yhan2x the filipino consul asked for husband's 2013 ITR and thats it while the american consul just asked for pictures... But bring those docs still it really depends on the consul so youll never know better be ready right

I will be posting his interview review to our timeline shortly. His interview was at 8am this morning and he was in and out in less than an hour!! MY HUBBY IS COMING HOME ON THE 30TH WITH MEEE!!!! YAYYY!!!!!!

Just got home from my interview and my visa is APPROVED!!!!!!!!! Finally!! Thank you to the vj community!! Now unto waiting for my visa the american consul who interviewed me didnt mention anything about the delay so i didnt bother asking coz i dont want to ruin the moment! But anyways i can now sleep peacefully coz my immigration journey is almost over! Thank you god! Goodluck and congrats in advance everyone.

No photocopy of the beneficiary's birth certificate or passport is needed for the I-130.

Oh I forgot, yes passport of beneficiary is not needed in uscis. Got confuse cause we send our marriage military approval which contains my documents for more evidence.

I have it because i was misinformed. i am in the military, and they told me i need her original documents. trust me, it made no snese to me either. but now that i have made certified copies, and and notarized everything im going to send it back to her. so my question is this, can i send the I-30 packet ? or will it get pushed back from NVC or can i do it later when i get to the NVC stage? i think i will just get her new passport first before anything and have her make a copy of that and send it to me. do they need that to be certified and notariexed as well?

if u are just starting to process your petition for your spouse it's mean you are not yet in NVC stage. Photo copy of her current passport it's ok for I-130 for now and documents,but u will need to send all her original documents later on at nvc stage exept passport (photo copy also for this stage) It's up to u if u want to renew your wife passport on married name. This doesn't give u a problem but expect some more paper works in the future, she can even renew her passport while u are waiting for the I-130 to get approve in uscis.

You can file for tourist visa or visitors visa but just a warning most people who applied for this category here in Philippines didn't grant a visa. Got a friend also who applied 3times to visit her husband under visitors visa and got denied.

Sorry to question this but why did u bring her passport together with u in US?

Anyway she need to change her passport on her married name, u have to send back her passport cause DFA will ask for it. She also need to bring birth certificate, marriage contract and cfo certificate when she do it.
