  1. Hi Vj's.. i am just a bit confused. I checked my status at cgifederal.secure.force.com. Before it will show that the visa will be delivered at 2go in Mall of Asia, now it shows nothing but my mailing address . I didnt do any changes because i am here in Manila and will pick up my visa at Mall of Asia if given.. with the current situation, are they going to deliver it on my mailing address or 2go MOA?

Try to track your visa in 2GO using your passport # or MNL # http://supplychain.2go.com.ph/customersupport/etrace/index.asp

  2. Hi

I'm new to this forum. hope i can get viable information regarding my case :)

Actually my brother applied for my parents for an immigration. He is currently in USA. My parents live in Pakistan.

    Their preference category is IR-5

and the priority date is 20March2013

As per NVC's email the case was completed on 24 May 2014 . We sent all the documents (civil) needed for their review before an interview.

It says (on the website) that it takes 6-7 working days for NVC to review the documents and schedule an interview.

Its been more than 40 days now.

Do you guys have any idea how much time does it take for an interview to be scheduled? i emailed them as well as called them. They put you on hold for hours and do not reply to any email.

    Help required here!!

it's depend on the country if the have an available schedule. Join this forum, http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/508215-september-2014-interviews/page-5 I don't know how your country's scheduling but maybe somebody in that forum can answer u.
  3. Hi,

My husband called the NVC and got the Case number and Invoice Id Number but the agent told him to wait for the instruction that will be sent to him in email. I am confused. Can we proceed and submit the DS-261 and pay the AOS fee since we already have the case number and Invoice Id number. Thank you. We are processing CR1.

Go to this site http://ceac.state.gov/ and log in using your case number and invoice, if it's available then just do it no need to wait for email about the instruction.

  4. Got the interview date today! At last :dancing:

Do I called NVC since I was starting to wonder what was going on. September 5th it is. Cc july 11th. Montreal conslate for any of the canadian folks wondering.

Feeling quite relieved to put a date on this nightmare life ride....

    Cheers.

    finally interview data.

Septermber 30th. Going to try to change it if possible to ealier.

Got my interview date today - September 25. CC was July 28.

Seems a long gap between CC to interview, especially for Hong Kong which apparently is not a busy post...

    Congrats :)

    Medical scheduled : 12 aug ;)

Good luck on your medical mmaarreekk :)
  5. My wife is in the philipines and wants to come visit me for a few weeks in the U.S on a visitors visa. We have hopefully three or four more months before she can come he permentnantly. Does anyone have any experience with this. If it is possible or not any expereince will be grately appreciated.

I've seen lots of people here in PH who applied for tourist visa or visitors visa denied, one them is my friend who applied 3times and denied in the interview that's Why her husband decided to just do the cr1/ir1 visa. If I was in your situation I'll wait till she get there. According in your timeline you're now at NVC stage it won't take long have more patience :) good luck

  6. So, we finished DS-261 (Online choice of agent and address) months ago, as we follow the corresponding procedures. Then i checked on the portal to print the DS-260 in advance preparation for the interview as soon as our application gets finally approved. Unfortunately, DS-261 appears to be incomplete. Should i resubmit? What should i do?

No don't touch that, call the NVC first about this matter they will tell when they receive your ds-261 and if it's incomplete they will let u fill up it again.

  7. My operator said I was the first September interview she's given out! September 5 baby, yeah!

    Congrats

Just got my interview date from the Kingston embassy this morning for August 8th so I have to be scurrying like mad to get my medical done on July 31st as August 1st and August 6th are public holidays here in Jamaica. The light at the end of the tunnel- finally after more than 14 months....

Congrats and good luck on your medical :)

    Congrats

No interview date for me yet either .... :( ... however i spoke to Don (? sounded like a really happy cowboy) WHAT A NICE GUY!!!! so polite, handled the call well and was chirpy ... afternoon shift is soooo much better!

I agree on what u said about don, he's the one spoke when I get my interview schedule and he really sounds more happy than me :). Call them again tomorrow, I have a feeling lots of people will be getting their interview this week :)

  9. Here it is, it's a K-1 (so if they're getting visas, then IR-1/CR-1s should definitely be getting their visas). I don't know if this is the same person you're referring to:

    http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/507572-visa-issued/

Her status on ceac say issued but she didn't have her visa yet, anyway thanks for this :)

I will follow her timeline and see if when she will got her passport back :)

  10. A CR-1/IR-1 applicant from the Philippines had no issue, so it doesn't seem to be an issue in every country. I'm hoping there's no issue in England :crying:

Hi bdrew612 is it ok if I ask where did u get info that the philippine don't have issue about it? I was in 2 Philippines group and so far there's only one person's post waiting for their visa for more than a week now, She got interview before this issue happened and I've never seen somebody got their visa from last week interview. Its been a week since this is happened so right now we can't see if who will really get affected by it.

  11. It's a common happening in Nigeria. lately the CO's have been giving some immigrants what is a "Contact List" and they are to list people they know whether family friends in Nigeria their address and phone numbers. They are put in AP and now the field investigators do what they do. They can be in AP 9 months like one of my friends or a few weeks.

It's common in many places sometimes you never know, cuz many times the field agents are out there and will observe. And they are local people so they are their to observe and look and you never even know. If they ask questions sometimes it so low ow discreet you don;t even know you think you are talking to the local whatever about whatever.

Oh I see. Thanks for the info :)
