Most of the philippines filer was expedite because of typhoon but I heard they already stop it.

Hank when u enter submit after u fill up that nbi form there's still another page that will show up to fill it up again, u will see there the info asking about your husband surname and address , your complete add, parents name and birth place of your parents

Just fill up the form with your maiden name, don't put that on the aka cause like I say there is a box there for your husband surname. I apply for NBI last febuary using my husband surname to fill up the form then I put my maiden name in aka. And it turns out that the box where I should put my husband surname remain blank.

I just can't believe how fast they were! We were thinking they still haven't gotten our papers and we have to wait for 3-4 weeks to get the case no. like the rest.

Hello Everyone! We just got an email notification from NVC with the NVC Case no. Is that the case no. that we need to check online? Is the right case no. it starts with MNL?

USCIS mailed our case on June 11 and we got NVC's email June 24.

I got the same situation so I'm guessing it's normal, there is also one person who post the same question about it, and all the comment said it's always remain N/A even if the nvc receive the package.

NVC are doing May 22! I got case complete tonight! Before I call I go check the website AOS fee became magic "N/A"!! So it really work! you can check the AOS fee status to find out CC or not!

Congrats for the case complete wow I thought they are already reviewing the mail they receive from 22 last Friday, so it's mean they didn't work Saturday and Sunday. Losing hope for this week

No, just one. When u fill up the nbi form there's a box there where u can put your husband surname.

I have two tattoos, I had pre-marital/ command sponsorship medical in saint luke before, they just ask when did I get them that's all. I was worried about it too and even ask the doctor if my tattoos gonna affect my medical and told me NO!

Me and my wife was thinking. Would it be faster if we got a lawyer? Or could we do it alone with out a lawyer? Sent we are marry in Cebu. Would that make things easier for us?

if u are busy person and have a extra cash then hire. My husband is super busy and our lawyer help us a lot, so far we are satisfy on his work

I got a lawyer, best money I've spent. All I have to do is give him the correct documents and wait. Hes mailed in/submitted everything when possible and has kept me informed of the process. Also depends on what type of Visa too I suppose.

Ok after 50 looonnng minutes of being on hold Agent Tessa informed me that we have a CASE COMPLETE as of today..Our documents were scanned on May 20th. She has no idea if they are still scheduling for July interview. I feel relieved ??

I have read some posts about CFO. What is it about? Is it required for a K1 Visa? Do i need it before the Medical exam?

You will need it after you get your visa. U can't go outside the country without attending the seminar in CFO. But if u want to do it earlier u can do it.

Expedites are for real emergencies & not always guaranteed

I know that expedites are for real emergency and I know we also need to send them proof. My only concern is about who will set the interview. Anyway thanks for responding

If the NVC approves the expedite they send it to Manila. If Manila approves the expedite they'll likely schedule you an interview quickly, but they may decide you don't have enough grounds for an expedite and make you wait.

Manila would set your interview date (or inform you if you have to do it) if you were approved for an expedite through the NVC. They would send all of your information to Manila and you'd have to finish up with them.

The NVC does not schedule interviews for cases that are not completed through them.

Thank u now I know I am having a second thought about this expedite because I heard it's hard to schedule your own interview in manila now. Worried that instead of of having it faster we will wait longer because of getting an interview date.

Hi everyone quick questions, is it possible to apply expedite for early interview?

Expedite does not mean you get to chose when you will be interviewed. It just means you're applying to speed up the process. They will schedule your interview earlier than expected wait times if approved and inform you as usual. You will still have to wait.

I know that applying for expedite is to speed up the process, what I am asking is that once the expedite is aprroved who's the one who's going the sked? The NVC or Us? i saw somebody expedite their case after getting the case number and they are the one who sked the interview not the NVC, but my situation right now is different cause nvc got my docs, so that's why I'm asking if it's gonna be the same as them or not?

Hi we are planning to apply for interview expedite at NVC, my question is if that's get approved are the NVC is the one will still gonna give us the interview date or we will set it by our self at the U.S Embassy in our country? Any answer is greatly appreciated TIA
