  1. hi guys! so today i decided was the time to finally pay for the interview. poland uses ustraveldocs.com to pay and schedule the interview so i logged in and tried to make a payment and, well, did, but..something is wrong and im really confused and worried. there were a few options as to how i could pay - either an online money transfer from ur bank's website or with a debit card or by going to a bank and giving them cash and making a payment that way. so my dad had a bank account that he could use to pay for stuff online so we paid for the interview that way...dad went to his bank's website and made the payment, but then i saw that the ustraveldocs asked me for a "receipt number" and i cant proceed without typing it in it seems. but...i have no idea what receipt number they are talking about. somebody on a polish forum told me that it is the receipt nr of the online transfer payment thing but my dad didnt get any receipt/confirmation number....he did get a confirmation that the payment was succesfully done but no receipt number. im kind of scared cuz i cant even go further without that number and idk what to think. i hope somebody can help me out...im afraid that the money is gone to waste and it is non-refundable...and i also really wantd to have the interview this thursday or friday cuz i know these dates are open.

  2. OP, ask yourself: Is it better to take everything that you have and not need it, or is it better to take less than that and be asked for what you don't have, possibly being put on 221g status and suffering the consequences of that?

Granted that family-based visa interviews in Poland are not known to be difficult, but never, ever underestimate the consular phase.

*** Thread moved from K-1 Process forum to the Embassy/Consulate forum -- topic involves that phase. ***

Yeah, you are right. I will take as much as I can! Thanks

  3. Yeah, future sister-in-law would have worked as well. Brother's fiancee is easier to write though. :) And don't worry about asking questions. I know you are nervous, so I hope getting answers you need helps you relax a bit.

well, good! And thank you, you are incredibly helpful as always, hopefully i'll be making a thread here soon in a few days with the word "approved" in it.

  4. hi guys...so i got my fiance's package in the mail today, he sent me all the required documents with I134 included, we are using his sister as my co-sponsor and i went over her I-134 and where it asks about the person you are filling this affidavit of support for it also asks "relationship to sponsor" but she put "brother's fiancee" and i just realized that she mixed it up because it asked about MY relationship to her and not the other way around. she should have put "future sister in law" right? or am i looking at this completely wrong

no, i guess she should have put "fiance's sister" right? cuz it asked about what my relationship to my sponsor was.

  5. In Facebook in the messaging part of it there must be a section where you can go back in time of your conversation, if you can than copy and paste into a word file your conversation. That is what i did but from another social site. It took me most of a day because there were 3 years of conversions but you have to have evidence so whatever it takes.

yeah there is, but isnt copying it into a word file not that good? i mean screenshoting the conversation does prove it's real and legit and you can just put anything in the word file..not that anybody would i guess but yeah. i wasnt gonna print out a bunch of screenshots anyway, just several of different times of talking. i do not have any that go back 2 or 3 years tho, and if i did it would take a very long time to find them...

guys, are conversations really that needed??

and what about the tattoos, good evidence or should i not bother

  6. hi guys. im taking about 50 photographs of me and fiance to the interview....there is a few of me and his family. is 50 too many or no?

also...i have fiance's initials tatted on my wrist which i did over a month ago and he got my name on his arm not long ago also. do u think photographs of these tattoes are good evidence?

i obviously have mine on me so that can be easily proved but when it comes to my fiance he has posted the photo on facebook and people liked it and commented it so i took a screenshot of that,

do u think that could be good proof? or should i not bother with this lol and it's silly?

  7. Yes, there is a B1 for the domestic worker to follow/accompany his/her employer.

If this visa was used then it was established that they had a working relationship at that time.

If that is so and they 'later' fell in love then the dates of the relationship timeline flow should be in sync with previous claim.

If they were 'together as a couple' already when this B1 you have mentioned was filed (as domestic worker) then there are inconsistencies

    that would confuse the CO.

OP mentioned bosses fall in love with their workers.....I don't know what came first, the chicken or the egg at this point.

Personal or domestic employees who are accompanying or following to join an employer in the United States are eligible for B-1 visas. This category of persons includes, but is not limited to, cooks, butlers, chauffeurs, housemaids, nannies, and gardeners. Domestic employees are eligible to qualify to accompany a non-immigrant visa holder or an American citizen.

Since we are getting just bits and pieces it is really difficult to understand the entire situation.

if that is the case then i wonder WHY her fiancee got denied that b1 visa....

  8. i am sorry that this happened...i guess sometimes they don't tell the truth either, cuz u mentioned that they told u that your fiancee got denied cuz of lack of evidence ? but they wrote down something different...i just know that a tourist visa has very many limitations, ive read about that visa once and the person who is on it isn't even allowed to volunteer...that is kind of weird and all but that's just what the law says i guess. hopefully you can hire a good lawyer and get this fixed. best of luck

  9. If your interview is after October the first you may need the flu jab as it then becomes flu season. Other than that my vaccination sheet says the same thing.

Like others have said it means you don't have certain vaccinations for example varicella is an American vaccine for chicken pox that most countries don't do

ahh ok. was planning to have the interview next week...hopefully it'll be all good then

No there is no problem with this during the interview or when entering the USA. In fact you can enter the USA without getting any of those vaccines, but you would need to get them before, or get a religious waiver before you can get your green card. Save this document, you will need it when you file the I-485.

    thank you!

  10. I'm going by what it says on the website, but if you are still unsure maybe you should contact the embassy and ask them directly?

or maybe get the influenza vaccine and talk to the doctor who did your medical and let him/her know you now have it and would like him to add it to the vaccine record?

well i dont even know...i would think that the doc knew what she was doing and i specifically asked if any of them were missing and she told me "no". and this was in a different city that im now gone from and costed over $100..so don't think i would be able to do it again

  11. hi guys. yesterday i did the medical part of the whole k1 process, testings in the morning and a doc visit afternoon. i brought my vaccination card to the doctor visit and she wrote all the vaccines ive had on this form she had to fill and then give back to me so i take it with me to the embassy for the interview. so as she was copying the vaccines from my vaccination record to that form, i asked her if there were any vaccinations that are missing and she said no. but then i got home and looked at the form she filled and the picture below is what i saw, and im kind of confused. what do u guys think? am i reading this wrong somehow or what...

  12. That should be ok. I would just leave it as he did it. Try and relax. Take deep breaths. He just needs to amend the taxes with the IRS for the incorrect relationship mistake. That does not make you ineligible for the K-1 visa.

i really do need to relax, i know, i just dont know what to expect after everything that we have been through when it comes to our petition. he def will, thank you.

  13. List him as 'cousin(godson)'. He can check partially dependent, but that won't really matter because he will be counted in the household anyway simply because he claimed him on his taxes. You have a co-sponsor, so it doesn't matter if he doesn't meet the income requirement for his household size.

Listing him incorrectly as a child should not get the K-1 denied, however, he should file an amendment with the IRS to get it corrected. He has no children and should not be claiming any children on his taxes.

He put "godson" and "partially dependant" and mailed the documents to me...do you think he really should put cousin instead and mail me that page too...?

I really hope it won't get my visa denied. I am just paranoid at this point, that something will go wrong. Afraid they might accuse him of some tax fraud and therefore deny me, or see something wrong with the I-134 and then see the tax transcript where it states that he claimed "son or daughter" and deny me before even talking to me, on the spot!

Doesn't this cause him another dependent on his I-864?

So he must show more income!

Yes, it does, and I will have a co-sponsor for the AOS anyway

  14. After you are married, you and your husband will have to file for the adjustment of status. The adjustment of status process requires an I-864 be submitted, so if you need a co-sponsor for the I-134 then you will need it for the I-864 most likely. He really needs to clear this up one way or the other before filing taxes this year and claiming his cousin again. Again, he also needs to ask whether he will be held accountable for providing insurance for the boy and if he can be penalized if he doesn't provide insurance but claims the boy on his 2014 federal taxes.

Yes, i know that, and we will be using a co-sponsor (his sister) for the AOS just like we are now, for this k1 visa. I will tell him all this and that he needs to straighten this up, all im worried about right now tho is that i might get denied k1 visa cuz of this
