I hear you... Hense why I done another request for not receiving a letter LOL. I'll throw everything at them until they tell me something useful..

Are you sure that is USCIS updating your status or the website updating every week with the current status? When you log into the website, go to My Account > Settings >  Case inactivity notifications > Edit  and turn them off.

I am receiving this update on the tracker app. The March 20th update I got today was from the tracker app . It's not even appearing on the online account as I write.

  2. I don't know why I keep getting updates every thee to four weeks about card being produced. All the update I keep getting  keeps saying card is being produced. I was approved on the Feb. 8th, but I haven't gotten any updates about card being mailed. Today again, I got another update saying " On march 20th 2018, we ordered your new card and will be mailed to the address we have on file". I received the approval letter on the Feb. 12th. This is getting so irritating. I called USCIS and spoke to one of customer service reps. She said, my  case was approved today LOL. How will my case be approved today when I already have the approval letter in my hands LOL? I told her NOPE, my case was approved on the 8th of Feb and that the system keeps updating with different dates of "card is being produced". All she could tell me was "oh since you have the approval letter, just keep it and call us after 60 days if you don't receive the card in the mail".  LOL Okay Ma'am, I hope; I don't get another update about "card is being produced because this getting annoying and irritating".

  3. Hi everyone,

I know; it takes around 60 days to receive the green card after one’s case has been approved. However, it’s annoying to see others that got approved after you are  receiving their cards while  you sit there wondering as to what is actually going on. The 8th of this month is going to be a month since I got approved. I don’t know what USCIS is up to. I will just have to suck  it in until I can receive my card in the mail :(

The GC can take up to 60 days to arrive I believe. It probably won't take that long, but that's why they provide a passport stamp in the interim. I don't know if you can still get one of those, as the GC has already been produced? Might be worth calling USCIS to see, as unfortunately, you potentially could have up to another month of waiting. Congratulations on the approvals though! Still waiting here...

Currently, my passport is expired. I am not sure if they will put a stamp in my expired passport. I will just need to wait until I have the greencard. Today is the 18th day still no update since the card went into production. Yes, I know it takes up to 60days to receive  the greencard, but why other people I got approve before are receiving their greencard while my card is is still being produced? :).

Me too. My case status haven't been updated to Card was mailed  ,still showing New card is being produced since this case status updated on 2/14. I got my approval letter on 2/20. I am still waiting for my GC. I don't know if they will update my case status to Card was mailed or not? It seems some people received GC much faster than others.

It's really sad! I don't even know what kind of system USCIS is using. Up until now, I haven't gotten my greencard yet. Everyday I am looking in mail hoping to see my greencard in there, but unfortunately, I haven't been lucky enough to find it in the mail. This is so not okay. Today is the 16th day since my case was updated to card is being produced.

I am just sitting here and hoping to receive it asap. Just few days ago, I went to the liquor store to grab myself some beer;  the guy at the liquor store refused to allow me to buy liquor because my driver license is expired. I am even afraid to drive right now until I can get my greencard in the mail. Right now, I am using public transportation. Please hurry up USCIS.

So I received my approval letter and ups informed delivery says that I have a package on the way from uscis to be delivered this weekend, which I'm assuming it's my GC. All of this and they still haven't updated my status online. Is anyone else having this same thing happening?

What was the date of your approval? My case was approved on Feb. 8th, and I still awaiting the green card in the mail. I did get the approval letter a week ago.

From what I read on google,  fingerprints are only valid for 15 months as per USCIS requirements. So,  if your fingerprint is more than 15months, I assume, you will be asked to redo the fingerprint.

  9. When did you do your fingerprint?

    Did anybody have this problem?

Hello everyone, I found my fingerprint is expired  for one month , and my case status just stayed in being produced. My question is that this situation impacts my new card being produced? And I need to get another fingerprint ? No wonder my case status didn't changed to Card was mailed. I really feel exhausted especially after long waiting.

When did you do your fingerprint?

I just submitted online a case inquiry regarding my application. I got a web response saying that I should hear back from USCIS by March 10. Arrggghhh!!

Also, I had to type in the receipt number on my I-751 receipt notice. The system gave me an error when I typed in the receipt number that’s on the biometrics notice form. But when I perform a status check on their website, it’s the biometrics receipt number that works and not the one on the I-751 receipt.

    I hate this bullsh**.

I know that feeling. It totally sucks. You just need to patient. I am positive that your case will be approved before you depart from the USA.

Congratulations after such a long wait! I am surprised you didn't receive the approval letter first as that what normally has been happening with Vermont recently, not sure how California operate though.  Anyway go celebrate!

Oh yeah, I have been celebrating and thank you. I can't wait to get the card in the mail. It has been a long long wait. Finally, I am over with this stage of the immigration process. Do you have any idea as to how long it takes to receive the physical card in the mail?

What do you mean by signing into your account? I thought we go to the USCIS website and enter the WAC number to check our status?

I’m irritated in the delay of my ROC. Still frickin’ nothing while everybody else keeps getting approved.

I am sorry for the confusion. I have the USCIS case tracking app on my phone and when sign into it, I realized that my card was in production.  I have never used the website to check my case status. I always use the app on my phone.

  13. Hello Everyone,

I am have been following this thread but I have never posted for awhile. I just signed into my account and realized that my new card is in production. I couldn't be  any happier because this process has been really slow. I want to  encourage everyone to be positive about their process. There is definitely a light the end of the tunnel. Wishing everyone a speedy approval.

  14. Hello Everyone,

My conditional green card expires on September 20. I am putting the documents together in order to have them mail tomorrow. The instructions for filing said, "YOU SHOULD FILE DURING THE 90 DAYS PERIOD". My question is, will my documents be rejected when I send them tomorrow?

Your response will be highly appreciated thanks!

  15. Hello Everyone,

The time is once more drawing closer to start another immigration headache. I have a quick question regarding my evidence to prove a real marriage. Below this is what I have so far. They are as follows:

    a. Three years joint married tax return

    b. a vehicle bought in both of names and the title bear our names

    c. Four years joint bank account statements showing transaction prior to marriage and after marriage

    d. Joint medical and dental insurance

    e. joint car insurance with both names

    f. Letter from the church we attend address to the both of us

    g. joint cell phone bill prior to marriage and after marriage

    h. Joint cable bill. I just got added to it recently because I didn't feel it was that important to get added on it early

I also have picture of vacation and plan ticket trips taken together.

The only mistake I did was not getting my name on the least because We have been thinking about moving so I consider it not important getting my name on the least. Will this hurt my case. I have abundance of mails to prove that we live at the same address. Please advise. Your help will be very appreciate. Thanks

  16. Decision

On October 27, 2014, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before receiving your card, please call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

During this step the formal decision (approved/denied) is written and the decision notice is mailed and/or emailed to the applicant/petitioner. You can use our current processing time to gauge when you can expect to receive a final decision.

After a long journey, I am finally done with my immigration process. I just want to take this time to extend my warmest thank appreciation to the entire VJ family. The ideas I got from here took me through this process successfully. The resources on here are very helpful. I could have spent thousands on Lawyers but the advise and replies to my questions when asked save me thousands. You guys actually rocks. I wish others the best of luck in their process as well!

  17. Those Lawyers you hire are group of numskulls. As long as your marriage name appears on your marriage certificate, it becomes legal name for immigration purposes. You need to do away with them or else they will complicate things for you in the near future that will make you to keep spending money for no appropriate reason. I did my AOS myself with the help VJ. I went to a lawyer to do it for me and she charge me 2,500.00 just to submit forms to USCIS. It was funny but serious. I went to the library, fill all those forms out and pay 10cent per page to print instead of 2,500.00 to enrich that lawyer for submitting forms. I am going to give the lawyer all the documents they need to include in my package so why can I do it by myself. As long as you can read and write and with the help of VJ, you can do your process by yourself. With the help of VJ I was able to save 2,492.00. I only spent 3.00 for printing.

  18. I got a request of evidence from USCIS and I responded to the rfe on 07/25/14. On 07/31/14, I received the same request for evidence hard copy via mail asking me response to what I have already responded to earlier. On 08/4/14, my case status change to this:

    Card/ Document Production

On August 4, 2014, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

This step applies to applications that result in an applicant receiving a card (such as a "green card") or other document (such as a naturalization certificate, employment authorization document, travel document, or advance parole). Applications will be in this step from the time the order to produce the card/document is given until the card/document is produced and mailed to the applicant. You can expect to receive your card/document within 30 days of the approval of your application. I am really confused because I was in the process sending back same documents they requested earlier. Is this a mistake or what?
