yea , tring to understand all the pages from every thing is very complicated to me..............I study and watch things as much as possible to understand the process (which seems easy enough ) but as i do each step everything has issues and complications............... i dont understand why as much moneys is paid to these that they dont have it easily organized .or simplified...... i cant even get in a thing to pay them ............. and then they say it will take longer if you mail it in,,,,,,,,,,,,,, i just dont get this ........... i just want this all over .......and im being very mild how irritating this all has been since i meant my husband ..........we have gone thru tons of things to get this process over and to understand it all.............. all in the name of love and we keep pushing thru .....................money money money and then paper paper paper ....... more irritations loophole after loop,,, border people blocks and on it goes ...on and on (rude officers at times tearing care apart cause he said i was hiding something (in a caregiver i help people i dont use booze or drugs )I might say a scripture.......and we are 20 miles apart ...............man when i get him home i want to hide for the rest of my life................i have never hated some thing so much and yet i keep just pushing in hopes to figure and make it all finished .......................... horrible experiences for anyone............... why is that so............i question a man who came to our country in 1949 and asked him ....? what did you pay in those days .............oh he said I only needed to buy a passport..................... what the heck happened ............... then you hear all these people who can cross the border and come ...........Im for them cause this is aweful .............but man ............. why do we have to go thru so much .............. .... i want it changed ...........to their way........ but i want to be legal........................... but its horrible on relationships ........................oh well ,,,,,,i could probably ... go on all day............cause of the hurts that this has done to our relationship..........but i need to figure more out............how to get thru the next step.........and even how to post on these forums (which one and how to read the answers and ect ....... cant hardly figure it out either .................. just a lady who would like some peace of mind with out all this any more .

My I-601 was denied by USCIS even though were able to establish hardship wheter my US Citizen wife goes with me or stay here in US,yet they refused to accord their discretion because of my misrepresentation; and we appealed USCISs denial to AAO ,but AAO confimed the district director denial of our I-601. I know we can file a motion to reconsider with AAO as one option,but I would like to know if there is any other option that we have beside keep filing a motion with AAO.Can we take our case to district court or to a court of appeal.

What are you filing for? Adjustment of status does not use DS forms such as the DS-260. That is used when applying for a spousal visa at a US consulate abroad. Is your spouse in the US or in Canada?

It appears you are filing for spousal visa, so why would you be looking at what is needed for the I-485? Someone that enters with a CR-1 does not file an I-485 for adjustment as they become a permanent resident upon entry to the US. You need to research more about the spousal visa process.

You've responded to a 5 yr old thread - you may wish to start a new one of your own if you have questions

The problem isn't the working, it's the residing in Canada for those 2-3 days while working that could be an issue. Good thing is you are maintaining a main residence in the US, however, this could be a problem when questioned at the border as they may feel that you are not maintaining the rules of the GC (by residing outside of the US for work for a non-US based company).
So may need to look into that a bit more. If you were just commuting back and forth each day then that wouldn't be an issue. So it may just depend on the border guard if they want to pull you in and question your intent and residency further or not. So just be prepared to prove you are still maintaining US residency every time you cross back over to the US...

What do you think honestly? By applying for permanent residency in Canada, you're in effect signaling to the Canadian immigration authorities that if approved you plan on settling and living there 'permanently', while if you apply at the same time for permanent residency in the USA, you're saying the same thing to USCIS. So how could those two applications at the same time not conflict?
You must decide which country will be your place of residency and apply for permission there.
