For her to move to Japan she will need to be command sponsor, will go through medical clearance etc.
She would need to have the green card for 3 years before she's eligible to apply for citizenship. The good thing is she can do the naturlization in Japan through the us consular in Naha.

Oh yikes Janelle i just saw your timeline...holy moly what's taking them so long? I got a checklist back in December

Urgh 63 days already....

56 days since my last scan date...and it's been exactly 1 year and 10 days since we started this process!

My priority date is next Friday....does it mean anything at all? Urgh I got checklist (stupid me shouldn't have listen to the cop about my police clearance and the birth certificate) and now my scan date is 29/12. It's almost a year and I'm still waiting! It's so annoying when you see ppl got through USCIS with a week and they are still nagging about having to wait for case number and blowing up NVC phone while us who's been waiting like forever trying to get a hold of a human being at the NVC with no luck.

THANK GOD i just called again and spoke to another rep. she told me .they did not lost anything.everything has been reviewed .they are just reviewing my 2 police certificate .WTH.was that rep she scared the hell out of me.

I'm sorry. Just get whatever they ask and send it out quick so you won't have to wait too long.

Oh I did call as soon as i saw other ppl with later scan date got their case completed....but the scan date they gave me over the phone and on the letter their sent me was 5 days apart lol

I just dont get it....my last scan date is october 10, yet i see people with october 14 getting approved. WTH is going on?

10 weeks after NOA1, and we still haven't heard anything. Last update was 25 feb, our case is still under "initial review'
when should we start calling to make sure they didnt lost our file?
