so I checked the other names used on DS-260. and tped my maiden surname, below that is other given name used, should I leave it blank or put n/a.

I received email from nvc march 19 about 6:30am phil.time then about 10am i check the payment portal its already available to pay... but until now still waiting for my hubby to pay my iv bill:(

I already checked ours, and its already available. hopefully tomorrow my husband will already pay it. anyways looks like we're on the same track. when are you expecting to have your interview? just to have us an idea if we're having a right estimation

EP is not the same thing as online forms!!

Online forms are just that, online forms (DS-261 and DS-260). Everyone is required to do this.

EP (electronic processing) is emailing in packages (AOS and IV). Not everyone is allowed to do this; only certain countries are eligible.

my attorney paid the AOS and IV bill on Monday (3/17/2014), i checked online today and it shows PAID on both. Yehey! Unfortunately though for Manila, Philippines, we won't be able to do EP as what I understand while checking the eligibility online. So hoping that my attorney have sent all the necessary documents (AOS package and IV package) by today or by tomorrow. If sent tomorrow Friday, how long does it take for NVC to receive both packages? and how long does it take for NVC to review both packages?

as far as what I've read from Saylin, VJers and even went to the US embassy manila site. all countries are now eligible to do the DS-260 form (EP). not sure if you're the one who's going to fill it up since you have an attorney. but again as far as I know Philippines is now able to do EP - DS-260 in replace to the paper form DS-230. try to check it out to know for sure

I saw the yellow triangle last March 13 and I got an email the follow day, Friday. Then Monday, March 17, the payment portal was available for payment. Actually, it was just 2 business days not 3 after seeing the yellow triangle.

did you received an email from the NVC about the IV fee is ready to pay? how long for the fee to be available in the payment portal after that NVC mail?

guys, anyone one experienced getting mail from the NVC saying im ready to pay the IV bill, but when I checked the portal it still doesn't have any amount to pay.

If you can get back into the DS-261 and re-submit it, go for it. But that makes no sense to me if they already have it.

You can't re-submit a DS-261. It's just a false checklist based on them reviewing your AOS.

The checklist you provided though is real. Unless it's asking for an entire package or one of the online forms, then it's a real checklist.

your right ms.saylin its a true checklist since their asking for us to correct some parts in the I-864 form. with the DS-261 checklist, my husband called them today and asked about the delay with my IV invoiced considering the fact that we did it feb 18 and our son has his IV bill already invoice. so the guy he spoke to put him on hold and got back on him after 30 mins and his saying he just talked to his supervisor and we will receive an email tonight about the things that we need to accomplished. that's the time we received this AOS checklist together with the mail requesting me to complete the DS-261. what do you think about this DS-261 filling again ms.saylin?

where would you put a stepson in a household size part in I-864 form? is it at dependent children? or other dependents?

does anyone experience getting an email form the NVC to do the DS-261 again and it has this new bar coded cover letter. I did mine last feb 18 and also our son. our son already had his IV invoiced with no problem but im still waiting for mine. so my husband called the NVC today and they told him that we're gonna be receving an email from them with all the things needed, that's the time we received this DS-261 email thing plus an AOS checklist.

so sad. called and asking about my iv still not invoice .nvc recevd the ds261 on feb 21 and untill not nothing .the laady told me they still not review it how come.how long they will review it?aanyone here same situaation?

aaw.. ok.. so she wait for her interview given by nvc. by the waay.. mine is at nvc waiting for iv to be invoice is it ok to do an advance medical aat st lukes? did you know someone did that same stage as mine?

yes you can do advance medical. st.lukes is saying that the medical result is valid for 6 months. you just need to bring the NVC paper that states your case number.

I asked the same question here too before and they told me I cant do that. one member here already did that, like she just got her own new schedule online and went to the embassy and she end up going home coz they wont honor it. if its an expedite case thing, they'll allow it.

Just called nvc and the lady told me that they are still working on feb 10 of ds 261.who among you here got thier iv invoice after feb 10 onwards.except those who have an atty.

no we got feb 6. I think on what they said DS-261 has nothing to do with the AOS, but not sure about it. we didn't have any problem with our AOS and we did already send out packet too.

Unsure why you would correct a minor error on that form at it's an inconsequential form.

If the cases are joined at NVC you will jave the same interview date even if yiu have different case complete dates.

thanks for the info, now we know what we're going to expect by the way I did saw that I put Philippines in that drop down button for my husband's address as my agent instead of USA. I was a bit frustrated since I filled out my DS-261 feb 4 and haven't got any invoice until the 18th in which I just found out that mistake and did edited it and resend it that time. I was like thinking that the delay of our invoice is because of that. so overthinking this NVC process since the waiting is getting on our nerves.

Atleast u now have the iv . I am sorry my friend but I am not certain about NVC's way of assigning interview schedule...but in my wild guess, possibly if he gets case complete earlier, he maybe scheduled earlier.

Idk where you got that. I called the Embassy and the woman on the phone told me CR-1 applicants can reschedule as many times as needed without any repercussions.

can you do this rescheduling thing too even if the case isn't an expedited case. (CR-1 applicant)

I can see that it also took u more than 1 month to receive the iv invoice.I am also hoping mine will come this week Coz i'm on my 5th week of waiting..a yellow padlock is still on though.

well we received our DS-261 feb 4 and did filled it out by that time. but we made a slight mistake over it so we did resend it feb.18. so its really between 15-20 business days.

by the way can I ask you guys if the NVC will issue a separate schedule for the interview once we get our cases complete (CR1 & CR2)? just curious how it will be since we got our sons IV invoiced first and still waiting for mine.

finally, our son's IV bill has this triangle already hopefully it'll be invoice tomorrow. I hope mine comes next before the end of this week.

when you get your IIN and case# , ask if the petitions are joined together, if they are you'll only have to pay 1 AOS fee. are you a USC, if you are, you'll fill out i864w for your minor child.

am I right that the i864w does not apply for my stepson since I haven't adopted him?
