http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/english/immigrate/immigrant-process/interview/prepare/medical-examination.html go to London PDF file and there is a list of what vacs are required. Most likely you'll need MMR and tdap and after October the flu jab. Print it off and take to your doctors, they should do them free, mine did x

Nov 8th file date here. Two service requests and still nothing. It is hard to not get depressed or angry knowing that this is only the 1st stage, that other later file dates are being processed much quicker, and that the NVC is getting a huge backlog as well.
Seriously? Omg, have you got your senator or member of congress on the case? This is crazy. I'm so sorry
-
Spaghettification? Love it. Nicking it. At least it's calendar and not business days.
-
I'll be sending to the msnbc team but that's a waste of time. They are not courting our demographic. It would be good to get a follow up to last years NYTs article though.
-
I think the most important thing is to get it out early this week to whoever needs to see it, especially with the 60 day email that people got on Friday.

Just curious, why is this being sent to ICE and not to Leon Rodriguez, who is the Director of USCIS?
I'm not sure, I just copied the list that was put on the i130 filers group page because the person isn't in VJ anymore. Is there an updated list that can be put on this thread?
-
"Boarders" needs to be "borders", otherwise good.
Yes, lol, we got that one. Just up to everyone to notice and change. I copy and pasted before I noticed, sorry.
It's the same for us K1 filers. I'm glad I didn't marry in her country, which I almost did, the wait time has always been longer for i130 filers, unfairly so!
You should send too. I know some k1 filers who have waited longer than me. They filed before me and we'll probably be in the US around the same time. K1 filers have also been hit with the same issues, this just came from a i130 filers group.

Please check out the letter I just shared on the forum about wait times. Lets get something moving here folks, this backlog is killing us.
-
Peeps, just posted a letter in a new topic about wait times that someone on one of the FB pages wrote. Be good if everyone could send it to the relevant agencies and media outlets x

Someone has written a letter suggesting we bombard the relevant agencies and media outlets over extended USCIS and now NVC wait times. We are suggesting a mass email to be sent out this week. Here is the content:
I am writing to you today as a part of a group that has been invisible. I am writing to you today to be seen. You are supposed to represent the people. I am writing to you today for help.
Each month a few hundred thousand I-130 petitions are filed with the USCIS from a US citizen on behalf of their spouse who is not a resident of the United States. These are people who have fallen in love and see no boarders in that. These are also people who trust their government and wish to go about bringing their loved ones into the country LEGALLY and do exactly as the system and government agencies ask.
We feel we are not being treated as law abiding tax paying citizens. We are being treated as if we do not matter, or even exist.
It is currently taking over one year in total to bring the spouse of a US citizen to the USA. With current laws giving priority to ILLEGAL immigrants we are being set aside. The problem is no one knows we are here. WE are hundreds of thousands of people being torn apart from our loved ones, our family, our friends and our human right to be happy. Children are forced to be separated from one of their parents. Wives are going through child birth without their spouses to witness the life they have created being introduced into the world. Some US Citizens are being forced to choose between their partner in life, and their right to live life in the country they were born in.
This is not what we were promised. This is not what we will allow to continue.
Here are some key points, questions and demands we would like to bring to your attention:
- USCIS states that spouses of US Citizens do not need to wait in line for a visa to become available and that family unity is a priority
- If US Citizens are at the top of the priority for the US government agencies why are we being set aside while ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION REFORM is being glorified and allowed special treatment?
- US Citizens are put through stress and depression and as a result poor mental and physical health since the DACA program has slowed down processing times even more than in previous years
- Thousands of dollars A DAY is being spent on ILLEGAL immigrants to be able to stay in the USA when we have to prove we can support ourselves with our own hard earned money and we are happy to do so
- When calling the phone numbers we are provided for assistance during this process we get NO understanding and certainly very inconsistent answers, if any
- We need to know why our government is spending so much money and resources on ILLEGAL immigrants and warfare and can’t provide enough employees to control a backlog for spouses of US Citizens to process their paperwork?
- Certain processing time frames at NVC and USCIS are given and not abided by and we demand for a change in this
- We demand for processing times to be controlled and fair at ALL steps of this process
- We demand to be the priority as we are choosing to do what is right and legal
- We demand to be treated more humanely
- We demand for a change in processing times for Immigrant Visas IMMEDIATELY
We want to know why we are being punished.
We need to know that we are not invisible.
WE CANNOT CONTINUE TO BE IGNORED
Sincerely,

No, I haven't had one and submitted it last week, lol. But then I haven't had a single email from nvc, no case # or anything! neither has our lawyer
-
Yeah, at last. Congratulations
-
Hi Guys,
when you receive your Police Clearance Certificate do you sign where it says applicant signature before sending it to NVC?
Thanks much!!
Must by country specific. There was no where to sign it on my UK one.
-
I have a feeling they've stopped using it. You don't need it for the ds260 either. The sample looks like you do but you don't.
-
My package was delivered on Monday, when will I know NCV actually got it.[/quote
I'd call them
-
I think for scanning it's only a few days but it's taking well over 30 for the iv to be invoiced
-
This is a real unexpected benefit of having an attorney. With the NVC all backed up I'm guessing we have both saved about 3 to 4 weeks on eliminating the need to process the DS261 before the IV fee is payable. There are folks who have been waiting a month.
I think some have been waiting longer, few folks on the fb pages over the 30 business days
Has to been a deal cut by lawyers this, in order to get people to pay more to save time, even if it is only a month.
-
No, probably last night. I'm in the uk and my wife isn't as ####### as I am. It was saying case terminated last night so I thought it would change over the next few hours.well done - did your case update on a Saturday?
And since when, VJ, is ####### a swear word?
-
Thanks
Got an attorney.
-
Yeah, AOS and IV available
-
I thought you could only pay Aos first then had to wait for IV unless you have a lawyer. People are waiting a while for the IV invoice right now after paying Aos and sending tax forms. I'd call nvc and ask about that.
-
You can log in, you just can't do anything until you get the email. Pretty pointless calling for the case# really, except for peace of mind.
-
Sooooo are we the only ones left now? This is so frustrating, I don't even know what the problem is, we never got an RFE. I keep thinking that because we filed the I-129f in December they put us in one pile with the December filers or something? Sorry about the constant negativity, it's just hard to see everyone else move on while we are still waiting
Still nothing? :,( I assume you've put in an SR? Congressperson? I'm so sorry.
