  1. I did my medical a week or two before CC. When I booked, Knightsbridge were only concerned that I would only have 6 months validity but I took the chance. London got my case on the 20th oct and updated it on the 23rd so I'm assuming they have linked my medical to case. I'm sure if cases got lost Knightsbridge would warn people that was a possibility.

  2. LOLyesthe NVC thread is daunting. :D i still get nervous when i see it!!!! :(:D:yes: . I am not out of NVC..yet..until i see the tracking thing move and my papers are at the Montreal Consulate.

    Facebook pages..eh! they are good.

I think most people from the November thread would have moved onto the NVC stage, at least by now, if not all the way through. I remember by the time i got the I130 approved about 40-50% had it already approved and were moving to the NVC stage. Fingers crossed!!

Just went over there, still two left. Poor Arise, been almost a year :(

  3. Congrats on making it to the next stage!!!!! The worry of getting a checklist is finally over! :dancing::dancing::dancing:

Still waiting to hear when my interview will be but I'm happy to be finally moving on to the last stage of this process.

All going well we'll be relocating in and around Xmas time

Btw.... I can't believe some people are still at USCIS, how awful!! :crying:

Thank you and keeping everything crossed for all of us to be home for Xmas. Are there really still peeps at uscis from November?

  4. I received a checklist for my I-864 form day before yesterday because item 7 in part 3 did not match the number entered in Part 5 item1.

Is this minor error going to cause additional delay of another 60 days?

Does anyone know if it is a minor error as stated above do they go through my file again quickly or will i go back to the bottom of the totem pole?

I have a horrible feeling it will cause a delay but they do seem to be working faster on checklists than IV dates. So sorry you got one :(
  5. I didn't post my medical experience on here, sorry. I was following though. Just like to add a couple of things for those yet to have it. The Dr I saw told me they do appreciate letters from GPs ( I took a page of a4 summarising my medical history and signed by my GP). My lawyer, forever wrong, told me they would ignore it. Also, don't tick anything as yes on either questionnaire without a letter from your doctor. A friend got held up two weeks by ticking something and not taking a letter. Her family practice had to be shaken by the coat tails to send the info to Knightsbridge.

  6. Want to add as an epilogue to my tale that I didn't get a call of doom from Knightsbridge (yay!) and that my medical results arrived at the embassy today like the receptionist said they would. Or at least I think they did, because my status update changed to today's date this afternoon.

My status changed to the 23rd as well, wonder if they have added my medical results as well. I did the medical late Sept so I hope so.

  7. Ok now i can say officially.

CASE COMPLETE. I got the AOS fees changed from PAID TO N/A on October 16, and confirmed by calling them but after what happened to Soloenta I don't trust them. FInally today got my email CONFIRMATION. :star::star::star::star::star::star::star::star::dance::dance::dance::dance:

I guess now i am on this thread. Woohoo.. Now to wait for them to schedule an interview .hopefully early december.

@dwheels ---- thank you so much for keeping this page and renewing it monthly. I added myself to the google spreadsheet

Whoohoo, congrats fellow novemberite, on to the next stage now :D

  8. The more I read about it, the more I am freaking out. I am bracing for a denial at the interview for incomplete vaccinations!!!

You'll be fine, they'll only deny for medical reasons if you are class A which is a drug user or someone with one or more DUIs and continues to drink heavily. Even then, with the drink, they give you a 3-6 month period to prove you can be dry. You won't even be class B, needing further treatment stateside. You'll be no class like me, or classless as I like to think of it ;)

  9. I thought they were checking for Mad Cow Disease since all British are required to strip down!

    Why down there? I don't know. :rofl::rofl::rofl:

I think it used to be a pre doma thing. Having read the london medical thread, one guy asked if them if they ever got any surprises and the Dr said yes, three this year, lol. So when she looked I said, look, no #######... It is very invasive though, not nice.
