  1. Fingers crossed for you Norris but I wouldn't get your hopes up for September. Nvc is taking four months right now from case received date so unless they get rid of the backlog and start moving..... :( I was hoping for September too, it's my first wedding anniversary on the 27th x

Oh you said October, sorry, it's still early for me. It's possible :)

  2. Thank you, yes got it on the 23rd :) as for the medical, apparently so. I'm not sure about calling. I think lawyers get agitated if you do and they have their own way of negotiating with nvc apparently, different email etc. I will certainly be calling her about the #, I want the medical done and dusted. I don't want to have to travel to London twice in one month, too bloody expensive, lol x

  3. hey cathymac,

yes the june NVC thread started on may 31and its June 3they have 51 pages of correspondence already.. yes most of them are april/may filers...

have you heard anything back? Fingers crossed.

From nvc? Not yet. Lawyer is away until the 16th but I'm going to start harassing her at the end of the month about getting the case # I can book my medical in London with that.
  4. Sorry for the double posting...but I do realize now it took exactly 3 weeks (not a bit over).

Speaking to a few others just now, I've been told the service centers send them over in batches. So some folks that might be getting approved later in this month at USCIS may not lose as much time in transit as they think.

Now let's get the rest of November folks approved already!!! C'mon USCIS!!

Why can't uscis do any thing in priority order?
  5. It sickens me that people before me still haven't been approved. I know it's no consolation but I'm truly angry on your behalf. It's really not fair. Priority date should be just that, priority. I'm sorry guys. If they worked by priority and I could give my date to an earlier filer and know when that would come in order, I would. If nvc can work through cases as they come, why can't uscis? Even straight forward cases can take longer with ones with RFEs. It's incredible.

  6. Does anyone know how can I send an email to uscis. My husband sent the response to our RFE on May 15 and until today's date I am yet to get an email saying that it was received. My husband tracked it through the mail and it stated that it was delivered on May 19. ####### is going on with Texas Service center. I can't call because I am the beneficiary and hubby is at work during the days. I hope he gets the chance to call today.

You can call as the beneficiary. I did.
