I'm pretty new here, but I have been reading your posts. I'm in the Testing and Interview stage since April 7th, I filed my documents at the end of February, and since April 7th I haven't heard anything from them. My local office is on Long Island-Holtsville. Did anyone have experience with that office? I know this long wait is not that usual, so what are you guys suggesting me to do? Is there anyway to chech where my office is at my applications ( doing Decembers,Januarys etc).
This long wait for the interview date is so stressful.

She would need a write a letter explaining that she was a stay at home mom with no income and that therefore she was not required to file. She still has to fill out an I-864 because even with no income, she is still considered your primary sponsor. Then your co-sponsor will fill out an I-864 or an I-864A depending on if they reside in your same household or not.

When my wife's AOS package was mailed in Novemember 2013, the USPS tracking never showed that it arrived even though it did. To this day, the tracking still says "In Transit" and "Delivery status not updated". Trust me, USCIS received your package.

It can take up to a month for the check to be cashed and the package to be accepted.
You sent it to a mail sorting facility, and it arrived today.
And you want them to have information about your case?
I am sure your case is safe and sound at their mailroom sitting unopened in a box.
USPS tracking is not that reliable. It will probably update in a few days.
There is really no reason to pay for overnight shipping when it takes them so long to open packages.

The only thing I saw is under your I-485 Package, you said "a passport type photos of Alien". I think you have to submit 2 identical passport style pictures and not just one.

There is no document of Joint Sponsor such as US passport or US birth certificate for US citizen. If he is LPR, then the joint sponsor needs a copy of Green Card.
I would include I-94 and I-20 to I-765 too.

A joint sponsor must provide proof of being USC or LPR. Proof for an LPR is the front and back copy of their green card. The USC does not need to prove their citizenship again.

Yes, the online transcripts are the exact same as what the IRS sends you. If she didn't file then include a statement explaining why.

Include your tax returns. Also get three years of returns from your joint sponsor as well. The joint sponsor's returns are more important, so long as they exceed the minimum income needed.

You don't need to include your tax returns. Get a "tax return transcript" and it's the best because it's 2 pages max vs the entire return which includes w2, 1040s, 1099s, schedules, worksheets etc... So much easier.
