teanet got a reaction from Jesus is Love in Can I become a citizen through expedited naturalization if stationed abroad with husband & married for less than 3 years?
It is little bit rude to say its a choice to move with spouse to their base. Majority of us already left our families in our countries to be with our spouse, and not to live in US alone and have our spouse stationed somewhere else, so of course if we can go to duty station with our spouses, we always will go. She just asked simple question as I heard the same from other military personal when I married my husband.

I am very happy for you.  My taxes went up, guess I should thank him.. I agree with you he will win another term, but not because he's so great but because money talks in American politics.

The same discourse happened with the one before him and it will continue long after he's no  longer president.  FACTS.

You do realize that in order to eligible for Obamacare, you have to have a full time job?  My husband is a doctor, I am a healthcare lawyer, I guarantee you I know more about how Obamacare works than your political talking heads know.  It isn't anything close to a disaster, very far from it, and take that from someone who treats patients all day long in a hospital.  Also, health insurance is far from a "few hundred bucks".  I own my own law firm and I can tell you what I pay for health insurance for my employees, it is a lot more than a few hundred dollars a month, try more like $600 a person per month.

You are completely entitled to your opinion, but the fact of the matter is that people that receive Obamacare are working, and working hard at full time jobs.  These are exactly the people that we want to keep in this country, so I have to disagree with you that we would deny citizenship to these people.

In this post, the 4th answer saying :
A spouse married to a United States citizen, whether military or civilian, whom the United States government assigns overseas may qualify for expeditious processing of an application for naturalization. The spouse must be a Lawful Permanent Resident (LPR) but all residency and physical presence requirements are waived. The overseas assignment of the U.S. citizen must be one year or more after taking the oath of naturalization. In order to be eligible for the expeditious naturalization USCIS must find that marital unity exists.
Its kind confusing, as when its saying that residency and physical presence requirements are waived.

If your husband has good credit score, can he add you to all the accounts? My husband added me to his accounts when I got my ssn and I live in US for two and half years and my credit score is 776.

teanet got a reaction from bdrew612 in Possible to switch to Adjustment of Status while file is at the NVC? (split topic)
I switched it also, my case was at NVC I came visit my husband an didn't want to leave, I came here on wvp. We called NVC to send all documents to uscis and explained it. The money you paid for NVC are gone. If you send all paperwork your wife can have travel and working visa in 3 months and tha wits for green card. At the interview I was never asked why or how I came here.also if there are no big red flags or troubles I don't think you need lawyer.

teanet got a reaction from Turtle's Wife in Can a spouse live in the USA while waiting for K3 Visa to be approved.
The uscis officer gave you correct information. Your spouse was already here and he didn't come here with the intent to adjust status. So since it would be decision made in USA he would be able to adjust it and get green card. When the application would have been send your spouse would be in authorize stay and doesn't matter that Esta is expired. So now you have to wait for the I-130 be processed which takes months and than go through NVC process and than have interview at the embassy. I think this process takes over year.

Since your husband is military and he will be stationed in Italy, it is considered as US soil so the time will count as if you would live in US.

If you leave without green card or advance parole than you won't be able to come back to US and will have to go with CR1 which takes pretty long.

teanet got a reaction from FLAussie in How much will age difference, prior marriage, health issues, and an overstay count against us?
When I was reading about red flags I and my husband had lot of them from uscis view. He is 16 years older, I am white and he is black, he is Baptist and I am atheist and we have very happy marriage and love each other. So if your relationship is real and you can prove it there is nothing to worry about. And about you being married while dating your soon to be husband I don't think that's a problem. There is lot of couples that started dating while one of them was still married but separated. Just be honest about everything and don't be afraid to explain.
    Good luck on your application
