So I got approved at the London Embassy this morning! The interview went flawlessy and I'm delighted! I'd like to thank everyone on here who has been a help,especially Nich-Nick on the London side and all my fellow I-130 posters on here who shared empathy and support, you know who you are. Last but not least some of you are aware that my wife is the amazing BOS-LHR and I'd like to thank you for all the support and preparing an amazing petition with no RFE's or checklists. It's been a long 11 months!

I'm sorry your part of the world has suffered natural disasters, but I'm still jealous over your fast approval! Good luck with NVC!

Finally received our NOA1 this morning (after 3 long weeks of waiting for the I-130 to arrive to Chicago from Spain). It´s been rerouted to the California Service Center

Maybe my words came off sarcastically, they weren't meant to. I'm jealous you got your approval so quickly, but I didn't feel right saying that without acknowledging that there are very good reasons. I'm in a politically stable country with no major natural disasters recently. I am so thankful for that and do not actually begrudge people who are expedited for political or disaster reasons. I just wish there was a way that they could, I don't know, hire enough people to process all the petitions at that speed!

I thought about it for awhile, and if it is about where disaster hits makes the immigration move faster just seems wrong but on the other hand I want to say YEAH!!! We all get there eventually, some faster then others and I hate reading about people who are still stuck over five months... I can not say how many nights I worried about getting a letter that states needing more evidence. I hope you all get processed as fast as our package did!

So as I've mentioned in another thread, Nich-Nick is currently no longer on these forums.
The reasoning for this is because about two weeks ago, she was suspended for a comment in another thread. We're not entirely sure what the offence is because the moderators are hiding behind the TOS (e.g. they won't tell me) and Nich herself disputes the warning, but cannot post to this effect until she even accepts said warning. Since then, she's said she's had enough of VJ and won't be coming back anytime soon.
Now, most of you who've been through the K1 process in the past will know who she is and how she helped you out. In the last couple of weeks, it's just been me and some of the more recent K1 successes. She's held the UK forum together alongside myself, Lost and those who have stuck around here and there to help out even after they've moved.
I'll be the first to say that my knowledge isn't as complete as hers, but that's why we pooled our resources and wrote the K1 guide. So I'll be the first to ask the following things:
*If you have new information to add to the guide about something that's changed, please post it in the Guide thread.
*If you need help, please read the guide first - if your question isn't answered, then post a new thread and ask it. If it is answered in the guide, then you'll be linked to the specific post of the guide where the answer is.

It's really not that big of an issue, especially with the London embassy. If you were from a high fraud country it would be a bigger issue.
BTW she CAN file as MFS without an SSN or ITIN. She just needs to hand write NRA in the spousal SSN spot after printing and mail it off. Most people don't want to do that for some odd reason. Tax preparers hate doing it because they can't use their software.

Yeah. The time has been increasing for Nebraska over several months, but the pattern at this point appears parabolic. This is good, as the most recent increases indicate that the peak of the increases is being approached. With the current pattern and without pulling out some math I barely remember, I would estimate that it should peak or level with negligible increase at about 150 days, probably closer to 140-145.

You disability won't be an issue. It won't show up in your application at all (unless you can see it in the pictures that you might be sending in). But since you don't have an income, you will need a cosponsor to fill in the affidavit of support for your fiance.

I'd suspect it's to rebalance the workloads. Here's hoping that it doesn't massively slow Nebraska!

If postcards don't mention both your names, they are not useful. If you have envelopes sent to "Mr & Mrs Beautifulbeach", those are good
For plane tickets, only use boarding passes
You might also look into facebook messages, e-mails and so on.
