No, that means that your case is still at NVC. Once your case has been sent to the embassy you know you have an interview date.

After all this young girl has gone through she is now looking at prison time. I think that she should be given treatment and the parents be charged with more than neglect.

POE was 12/24... SSC was received on 1/2/15. It seems that they are getting the cards out rather fast.

I got visa just three months before my 2nd marriage anniversary. I have read somewhere that poe after 2nd anniversary gives you 10 years gc. I it worth if I wait three months for poe.

Your visa is only valid for 6 months. If you don't enter the US before then you will have to apply again...

The visa you were issued is a CR1. I am not sure of them chaning it to an IR1 at POE. If they do then it will save you the time and money of ROC.

POE was 12/24/2014 at Ft. Lauderdale... It took my husband 2.5 hours to make it through customs/immigration. Other than the wait time there were no issues. He said all the staff there were nice. He also said that they didn't seem to process the people in the order that they came in as many people were processed before him that arrived after him. All in all the process was good the wait time I think was due to the number of people coming at the same time. S/N our son acts as if his dad was always with him

Is it possible for you get the "no arresting certification" that they are asking for? I see that you say you don't have a criminal record. Is there a chance that your name was included in a police report but charges were never processed or that they were dropped. I know here the are lots of people who are arrested but are never charged or charges are dropped. In this case they are not convicted criminals but they do have an arrest record.

Interview was 12/18/14 and approved. CEAC went immediately after interview to AP, file was touched on 12/22/14 but stayed in AP and on 12/23/14 changed to ISSUED.

I've had to have help from my senator twice during this process once at the USCIS stage and again after the visa was issued. We never received a waybill no provided any answers on where to pick up the visa for about a week and a half. It seems that this process is complicated for no reason.

I'm just thankful that we are done for 2 years and then we will begin ROC.

It's issuedddddd!!!! Today at 4pm guys my status changed!! I just had a feeling it will change today. Hubby and me are v happy mashAllah. Now just waiting to collect passport )) soloenta I will keep in touch with u even if I don't log on to VJ much cuz a lot of stuff to do. But i do read the thread usually almost everyday.
